Whispering Oaks Terrace

I have to admit, this wasn’t what I dreamed of for our daughters wedding, but it def grew on me. Dawn had great communication and allowed access whenever we needed it. Missy is awesome and a “Gem!” The bridal suite was perfect and the guest bathrooms were nice and clean. The decor was beautiful and they even upgraded the outdoor bar in the year leading up to their wedding. It’s been a year now, on Oct 1st. Weather was perfect but cooled down in the evening, enough to being out a few heaters. Must have Petes BBQ also! Perfect event!!

I am thankful my husband stumbled upon Whispering Oaks Terrace. We had looked at so many venues but kept being met with the overwhelming disappointment of being priced out. I knew we wanted a whimsical, romantic, and timeless night under the stars. I was beginning to think I'd have to change my dream wedding. When my husband showed me this venue online I found myself holding my breath. It was perfect. Obviously we couldn't afford it... It was everything I'd wanted. After seeing the pricing I collected my jaw off the ground and we ran to see it the next morning. Nathan, the owner gave us a tour and told us the charming story of the venue he hand built. Needless to say this was a easy YES. Dawn, the owner, was responsive and kind. She was always patient with my questions and helped us have a successful wedding day. They also require you to hire Melissa Ellis as a day of wedding coordinator. Missy is a beautiful human who is incredibly responsive, direct, and VERY HELPFUL. So helpful we hired her as our wedding planner or the day wouldn't have gone as smoothly without her. Whispering Oaks Terrace is a dream, so many hidden gems and places to take pinterest worthy photos. We had a little over 130 guest. Everyone keeps telling us how much fun they had at our wedding. Affordable venue and extremely friendly staff. However the yard is generally unkempt. The property manager is supper flexible about where to have the ceremony and reception and they really spend time breaking down the cost and what vendor is best to work with, but like I said---- the property itself needs work!

Absolutely LOVED working with Whispering Oaks Terrace. They were quick concise and smooth sailing. The location is gorgeous and needs minimal decorating. I loved that my fiancé (now husband) and i were able to do a potluck wedding with the event insurance. Really gave another special touch that made it our wedding the way we wanted it. The blend of oak trees, grapevines and country feel to the property made this a perfect location for a rustic wedding. 💕

My sister was married here. It's beautiful, has a very rustic, vintagey vibe that's just cool. The venue is pretty cheap for a wedding place and a LOT of stuff is available and included with the price. The owners are interesting and I advise you to get everything in writing, but it really is lovely.
