The most beautiful place I've stayed! Excellent service and attention to detail.
I stayed for 4 nights. Valet parking is $65/night but worth it for safety and convenience. The lobby is charming with complimentary juice, beautiful furnishings and a pianist. The bar has nice cocktails and small bites. The restaurant requires reservations and I wasn't able to get in during my stay.
I would absolutely stay again! Love love love!

I stayed there for 3 nights. Everything was awesome and very clean. Especially, Mark at the front desk was so cool and was nice and guided me very well to discover things in San Diego. Breakfast was more expensive than outside restaurants. It was very close to every thing you need to go in San Diego. Overall, San Diego is extremely lovely to go and US grant hotel made it very better for me. Love San Diego and Loved US grant.

I stayed there for 3 nights. Everything was awesome and very clean. Especially, Mark at the front desk was so cool and was nice and guided me very well to discover things in San Diego. Breakfast was more expensive than outside restaurants. It was very close to every thing you need to go in San Diego. Overall, San Diego is extremely lovely to go and US grant hotel made it very better for me. Love San Diego and Loved US grant.

I decided to spend my Baby Moon at the US Grant and our stay was definitely nothing short of luxury! From the beautiful architecture to the hospitality of the staff, this is definitely worth the money and 5 star rating! Starting from the moment my family and I checked in late at night and met a charming and lovely person named Jasmine, she definitely was a pillar to our enjoyable stay. Because I booked with my Amex and the hotel is apart of the FHR collection, I was automatically granted a complimentary room upgrade, however unfortunately there was nothing available at the time, but Jasmine encouraged us to follow up the next morning to see if something comes available. However, the next day we were eager to start our itinerary so it slipped our minds until the evening. We called and fortunately got her again, and she worked her magic and got us the upgrade of our dreams! I could not thank her enough except just kept saying God Bless You. If anyone from the hotel read this, please keep her employed at your hotel! Not only she has a welcoming smile, she really goes above and beyond to help, which represents the hotel in a great light. The breakfast was lovely which we ordered via room service, and my husband definitely enjoyed himself at the bar. All in all this hotel is definitely worth 5 STARS and I truly enjoyed my Baby Moon stay here. Next time we are in San Diego, this will definitely be our hotel of choice!

The service is incredible. Professional, kind and attentive.
The rooms are perfect. Grand and with finest of accommodations.
Make sure you walk around the hotel to take in and enjoy the history.

I had the pleasure of staying at the US Grant Hotel, and it was a truly memorable experience! From the moment we walked in, the beautiful and historic lobby took our breath away—stunning decor that exudes elegance and charm.
The room was equally impressive, with one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The food at the hotel was also outstanding.
A special shout-out to Hayley at check-in, who was absolutely wonderful. She was warm, helpful, and made the start of our stay seamless and welcoming.
We did encounter a minor hiccup in the lounge, where the server initially didn’t allow us to pay a cake-cutting fee and asked us to move to the lobby. While it was frustrating at first, the issue was quickly resolved thanks to the professionalism of the front desk and restaurant manager. They ensured we could pay the fee and enjoy our celebration properly.
Overall, the US Grant Hotel is a fantastic place to stay. While there was a small bump during our visit, the staff’s responsiveness and the exceptional service we received elsewhere more than made up for it. Highly recommended for a luxurious and accommodating stay in San Diego!
