I stayed at this hotel because I had an appointment first thing the next morning and I wanted to be rested and not rushed. This property is older but it's actually pretty relaxing. It was surprisingly quiet considering the location is next to the freeway. It was calm, quiet and relaxing. The room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The shower had good pressure and the temperature remained constant. There's a Whole Foods, CVS and more places right next door. The trolley stops nearby if public transit is your thing.

It was surprisingly quiet considering the location is next to the freeway. It was calm, quiet and relaxing. The room was a bit dated but clean and comfortable. The shower had good pressure and the temperature remained constant. There's a Whole Foods, CVS and more places right next door. The trolley stops nearby if public transit is your thing.

This hotel is like a hideaway in the middle of everything. It's quite despite the proximity to the 5 freeway. They have a pool , jacuzzi , and workout room. You can use the back gate with your room key to re-enter to access a shopping area with food places and stores, which is very convenient. The parking lot is secured and makes for a more relaxing stay. I feel I must explain why that is important to me. I was staying in a hotel in Escondido with my work truck in the parking lot, and some time in the night, it was broken into.

It’s a dated hotel, but it seems to be kept up fairly nicely. To go between different sections of the hotel you do have to walk outdoors, but since the weather is usually amazing that should be a problem. Only two floors per hotel building. It’s easy to navigate. There’s a nice pool and hot tub as well as a cute Koi pond.

Feeling tucked away and even secluded, this Sheraton property isn't new but is well-maintained. Our room felt like a cabana with teak-looking paddle shutters overlooking a lovely garden and pool area. I know we were very close to I5 but we had our window open and didn't notice much road noise. A perfect respite from the business of a wedding we attended, and I earned Marriott points!

Almost a prefect property score! The gardens around the interior of the property is what stood out to me the most. They are as beautiful as some of the most luxurious resorts that I've stayed at. The hotel shows some wear and tear. If that is addressed, it would receive a perfect 10 from me and would be my hotel of choice when in San Diego.
