I recently stayed at the historic Mission Inn Hotel & Spa, and it was quite the unique experience! This hotel has so much character with its charming antiques and quirky low ceilings that really capture the essence of its history. The beds were incredibly comfortable, which made for a restful night’s sleep after exploring the property.
However, I did find that the hot water was a bit hit or miss in the older bathrooms. Sometimes it took a little longer to warm up, but it was manageable. I also noticed that the sound insulation wasn’t the best, especially when a wedding group was heading back to their rooms—a bit noisy, but part of the hotel's lively charm!
The surrounding area is fantastic, with plenty of restaurants, bars, and coffee shops within walking distance. It’s a perfect location to explore local favorites.
The staff at the Mission Inn were professional and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay. Overall, I had a great time and would recommend this historic gem to anyone looking for a unique stay with a touch of nostalgia!

Local riverside peoples, I own a small business here in riverside and have thrown my company parties here. Had dinner here, drinks here. I've even had the presidential room as well. As other rooms and every room we've had here has been amazing every night we stayed here was amazing. The spa is amazing. The presidential bar is amazing. The restaurants were amazing. The location is amazing, everything about it is great. You must come here if you're not from around riverside, and you must come here even if you're from riverside, especially around the holidays.

As other rooms and every room we've had here has been amazing every night we stayed here was amazing. The spa is amazing. The presidential bar is amazing. The restaurants were amazing. The location is amazing, everything about it is great. You must come here if you're not from around riverside, and you must come here even if you're from riverside, especially around the holidays.

We had a wonderful stay here this weekend. We had a concert to attend, which was only a 3 minute walk from the hotel. Valet was wonderful , room service was wonderful, the room was clean, bed comfortable, and it was quiet. We were on the second floor with a beautiful balcony. The grounds are beautiful, and I wish we had more time to check out the restaurants and spa.

My wife and I had reservations at Duane's Restaurant a few days ago for an early Anniversary dinner. Had an excellent dinner and service there. We went to the hotel early to enjoy a cocktail before dinner. Based on our experience the Mission Inn's "Unrivaled Hospitality" does not extend to either the Presidential or California lounges. We started off in the Presidential Lounge and there were 4 other customers present. We were in clear view of the bartender. After several minutes of no acknowledgement of our presence we moved on the the California Lounge and grabbed a table across from the bar.
The California Lounge was busier and there was one person making drinks, taking orders at the bar and also doing table service. After waiting several minutes again I went up to the bar to order drinks. While at the bar, the person behind the bar contacted other customers waiting at tables and said she would would be with them shortly so I went back to our table to wait. After another nseveral minutes a server who appeared to be from one of the other restaurants cam around and handed out drink menus. We said we knew what we wanted and were told someone would be with us shortly. That did not happen, so we just checked into Duane's early for dinner. I find no fault with the lone employee as she was hustling and working hard but was clearly overwhelmed trying to handle too many duties.
Again, Duane's was excellent as usual, the others disappointing.
