Absolutely loved our stay—this hotel deserves every one of its 5 stars! From the moment we arrived, everything was above and beyond expectations. The room was spotless and incredibly comfortable, with a bed that made it hard to leave in the morning. The amenities were top-notch and added so much convenience and enjoyment to our stay. The location couldn’t have been more perfect—close to everything we needed, yet peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful property.
What truly made our experience unforgettable was the exceptional staff. Blanca, Nessa, and Melissa went out of their way to make us feel welcome and taken care of. Their kindness and attentiveness made all the difference. Thank you for making our trip so special! We can’t wait to come back.

Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended!
We had a wonderful stay at this centrally located hotel.
The spacious lobby area created a welcoming atmosphere, and the reception staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
Despite our delayed arrival by a day, they kindly refunded the missed night upon request, which we truly appreciated.
Our room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and the beds were very comfortable.
Overall, a fantastic experience – we would definitely stay here again on our next visit!

Based on value for the price paid I gave The Marker 5 stars. Stayed here for a conference and it was a mid Range price (below $300) compared to other options. Room was great but small. I had a queen. Bed was firm. TV, desk and small chair were all adequate. Water was hot and good water pressure. Daily housekeeping service was good. Front desk folks very friendly and I had excellent customer service checking in (730 pm) and out (430 AM). I barely opened the front door as the bellman always got to it first. Complimentary coffee and tea at Tratto (restaurant adjacent to hotel) was a nice perk. No coffee maker in room but I much prefer fresh coffee so I was pleased. Tratto was okay. I enjoyed a pizza one night. Good bartender with some fun drink options. It’s pricey but a nice option if you don’t want to walk, uber or door dash dinner. Bartender said they may be making some updates/changes soon. Room had fridge. Trader Joe’s close by so I stocked up on some snacks and grabbed sandwiches each day to take to Moscone center. Short walk to Union Square and cable car. Around 15-20 min to Moscone Center which I did not mind at all. Weather was generally very nice! Homeless is an issue all over SF. Marker does a nice job keeping the area around their space tidy.

The outside appearance was attractive. The building is brightly lit up in a blueish purple at night. The entrance is very inviting!
The decor in the lobby was nice, but it didn't match anything. No big deal, just an observation. Check out the nook just inside the huge fireplace. Warmest place in the building. They have some sort of automatic incense vapor that has a strong presence. Might be a problem for some. The staff was really helpful and pleasant. Zero complaints there. They gave us plenty of ideas for dinner in the area. There is also a gym downstairs, yet no resort fee. Very nice! They have a water filter / water bottle filling station on the first floor. Apparently they are on the 3rd, 5th, and 7th floor also.
The room was adequate. No fan in the bathroom. The outlets were loose by the beds, but still work. The lights were a bit subpar, but still did the job. However, the bed was comfortable. 2 different choices of pillows. King sized bed. Shower had nice water pressure and gets hot! We slept well. Location... on the edge of tenderloin. Hence the lower cost. We walked all over the place from here. It was 42min from fisherman's warf. mostly uphill!
Our first time in SF. Heard a lot about the roughness and issues with poop everywhere, but took a chance. Well it does exist. Just watch your step and mentally focus on what you're here for. If you are really particular about avoiding anything dirty or the homeless, stay at another place. It wasn't a big deal for us.
There were the occasional yelling and garbage truck sounds on Thursday night. Oh well! We're in the city!
Overall, good place to stay. Clean. Kind and helpful staff.
