Puesto at The Headquarters

Some of the best Taco's I've ever ever had in my life. We ordered the veggie and chicken taco options both amazing choices. The flavors were so savory that all the food went well with each other. I'm sure if we had ordered anything on the menu to eat we would have had an amazing experience. In terms of drinks I will highly recommend their mango margaritas (maybe seasonal). Really well done. The atmosphere is really fun and lively outside with space heaters and music with vibes. Definitely try and give this place a try

I know there are so many taco shops in San Diego which are cheaper and more authentic, but sometimes it’s nice to have some guacamole which isn’t so mashed up and soupy and tacos which are made with a bit more finesse. We stopped in on a Friday for a mid-afternoon drink and a snack. The guacamole was excellent. The tacos were quite good as well; and the happy hour margaritas were delicious. It’s worth a stop in for a quick bite.

Wish I can give zero stars to this place. Don’t be fooled by the glitterati of this place the fire pits, the big open outdoor space & all. It’s all just an eyewash. This place SUCKS like BIG time. After reading rave reviews of this place, we decided to give it a try. One hour waiting and then we finally get a patio seat. All going good, we decided to order the food and the drinks. The server was nice initially while taking the orders and then she vanished. She comes back after a long time with chips and salsa. We were given no warning at all that it was a fiery salsa. The heat of the salsa had us all sweating. The server then realizes and says oh sorry we ran out of the mild one so we just gave you the extra hot one (no warning before) and without even checking with us whether we like extra hot salsa or not. The FOOD WAS HORRIBLE. It was so so disgusting that some of us couldn’t even finish it. Chicken mole enchiladas were pathetic. Tasteless, flavorless. How can a Mexican restaurant mess up tacos. They were so so bad. Barely any meat or flavor. Served cold with some random veggies. The drinks were also watered down. The server was nowhere to be seen after giving us the dishes, as if she was trying to hide away because she probably she knew that the food of this restaurant sucks. When she came to collect the check, that’s the only time she asked us how was the food. I told her that it was disgusting. To my surprise she says oh but the service was OK, right 🤦🏻‍♀️. She only cared about her tip. She did not even apologize or went to talk to the Chef or the manager nothing at all. She only cared about her bloody tip. This place is just a tourist trap. People probably just come here for the shiny outdoor seating and Instagram worthy pictures. FOOD SUCKS. Save your bucks and go somewhere else 🤮🤮🤮🤮👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼🤢🤢🤢🤢

Amazing dining at Puesto San Diego! Kordel was awesome and brought the vibe. He provided great customer service and delivered quality. Food wise, can’t beat the Tacos, chips and dip, guacamole and tuna ceviche. Kids had their option which was amazing too… Thanks for the great experience!

So delicious! Carmen served us out and fit us in last minute, was fast with service and kept us topped off on drinks and food. Very attentive and delicious food. I recommend the vegetarian taco selection for my veggie girlies 👍
