My husband and I had our wedding at Monserate Winery's new venue, Villa de Fiore, in July. I want to start off by saying, the entire property itself is absolutely GORGEOUS. Before choosing this venue, we had toured a lot of other venues in SoCal and nothing else compared to the sheer beauty of the architecture and natural surroundings here. Everything about the property makes you feel like you have been transported to the Italian countryside. The buildings were beautifully designed to enhance the natural greenery and there is an overall feeling of elevated elegance. Throughout the entire planning process, the wedding and events staff was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed in order for the big day to run smoothly. Our venue coordinator was Carissa, and we also worked with Josh at times, both of which were pleasant and accommodating, continuously going out of their way to ensure we were happy. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and all of our guests couldn't stop raving about how beautiful the setting was, the friendly staff, the delicious drinks and wine, and how perfect the layout of the entire venue was. We wanted an indoor-outdoor feel, which was exactly what Villa de Fiore offered with the large sliding glass doors into the reception space. Our guests also noted the small details like the walking path around the pond leading to the welcome table, the ceremony in front of the trees, the pond with a fountain, the expansive courtyard for cocktail hour, and the adjoining built-in bar. I would highly recommend Monserate Winery to any other couples looking for the elegant, Italian feel right here in Southern California! I have attached some of our sneak peeks, and as you can see, the Monserate backdrop makes for absolutely breathtaking photos that we will cherish for years to come!

What are pleasant surprised… We were referred to this place from our Airbnb and it was a beautiful outdoor experience. We sat in the garden, ordered margarita, pizza, and the wedge salad.
Great breeze blowing through and wonderful views. Will definitely repeat.

We decided to give the winery a try as we rarely get a chance to do date days without the kiddos. Walking up, the place is beautiful. We had made reservations and were promptly seated. The only thing that threw us off (and the 4 star rating instead of 5) was we were ignored for awhile after being seated. There were maybe 5 other tables other than us on the inside of the restaurant. By the time our waiter came by she was not very inviting until she realized we would be spending money as well as joining the wine club. After that it was all smiles. The lovely couple who were seated right after she came to our table were taken care of straight away by our waiter, which left us a little perplexed. If it wasn't for Eden who came by to ask if we had been helped or needed water we would have left. So glad we didn't as we truly did enjoy the wine and food. We look forward to bringing our friends for wine tastings and our shipments of wine.

I have been lucky enough to photograph multiple weddings at Monserate's event spaces and I can honestly say that it is one of my favorite wedding venues! The options are endless, the facilities are brand new, modern, clean and look straight out of a european wedding pinterest board. The spaces all flow, the staff are on top of everything and have not only the couple's but the vendor's best interests in mind at all times. This is a great wedding venue tucked away with many MANY idyllic photo opportunities.

It was good. Nice ambiance. There was a girl server that wouldn't even look in our direction to help us with our experience. But as soon as we were helped by Scott everything was better. He was knowledgeable, friendly and just a pleasure. If you go to Monserate Winery make sure you go to Scott for help. 😊
