Weddings at Twin Oaks

I've had the pleasure of attending so many weddings on a personal level as well as professionally as a wedding planner. Without a shadow of a doubt some of my very favorite and so well executed events have taken place at Twin Oaks Golf Course. Their staff is all extremely accommodating, in great communication with one another and their food and beverage is superb. It's an honor to be writing a review encompassing all of the hard work and dedication they put into pouring their energy into excellent events up there!

With the help of Nicole, and the rest of the team, we just had our dream wedding at Twin Oaks Golf Course!! Nicole - thank you for all that you did to help bring our special day to life. Nicole was always available to answer my hundreds of questions, and was so much fun to work with whenever we got to see her in person too. The only complaint I have is that we did have a little bit of a mix up with the projector - we rented them from the venue and she had said they had both the projector and a screen, but unfortunately, on the day of we found out that there was no screen. If we had known ahead of time, we could have planned and brought our own. But considering that was the only issue, I would say that's pretty darn good!! The venue itself is absolutely stunning and the food was amazing! It's always hard to know if the food will be good or not when it's included at a venue, so you have to take a bit of a gamble when booking. But when we came in for our tasting a few months before the wedding, everything was amazing! It was hard to choose which dishes to serve. The drinks on the day of were great too, and the bartenders were awesome - there was never a line or long wait at the bar, they did a great job keeping up with everyone. We had about 100 people at the wedding and it was the perfect size. The fireplace area can technically accommodate more, but I think it would have felt a little too crowded if we had more people. Overall, we had a great experience with Twin Oaks Golf Course! Thank you for everything!

We held our daughter’s reception at Twin Oaks and couldn’t have been happier! From the very beginning Nicole was fantastic with planning/coordinating all the details. She was SUPER prompt in answering questions, emails, etc. The venue itself is gorgeous. The view and atmosphere was perfect. We used the grassy area for drinks/appetizers and the patio for the dinner reception. The whole evening was magical. The layout was really nice, so many options. The staff did a wonderful job serving our guests. We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Twin Oaks!!

I got married at Twin Oaks Golf Course on 8/21/21. This is a FANTASTIC venue with beautiful views. I toured a few wedding venues after I got engaged at Twin Oaks was the clear standout. This venue is a true hidden gem. From the stunning mountain views, beautiful white roses, and breathtaking greenery it will give you the wedding pictures you dream of. You will also get a lot more bang for your buck at Twin Oaks Golf Course. We were able to have the best dinner buffet package and a full open bar which would not have been the case at other venues with our budget. This place is affordable, but gives you the 5-star garden wedding experience. The food is also DELICIOUS. We were blown away at our tasting of how good the food was. Our guests had the biggest compliments to give to the chef on the day of the wedding. The pork loin, chicken piccata, and prime rib are to die for. Twin Oaks Golf Course biggest asset is their catering manager Jill. Jill blew us away right from the start on our tour of the venue. Jill is incredibly professional and accommodating. She worked with me on postponing our wedding due to Covid and helped rearrange the layout multiple times when guests were dropping out (even on the day of). She is always there to answer any questions or concerns you might have. She was quick to respond to emails and was very courteous! The venue has been newly renovated with new paint and flooring that we were very impressed with. They took great care of their facility. With all that being said, my only couple of negatives in this whole 2-year planning process happened on the wedding day. We asked for a few specific things in their getting ready room/clubhouse that were not delivered (coffee, orange juice for mimosas, cheese for the meat and cheese board). Also, the fire in the fireplace that was burning the night of the wedding was way too smokey. We got a few complaints from our guests to put the fire out, but at the point we were told it would make it worse. So, if you’re having a summer patio wedding, I would reconsider having the fire on. All in all, these were just a couple of small things, but everything else was perfect. If I could do it all over again, I would absolutely choose Twin Oaks Golf Course as my wedding venue. It was the perfect spot to celebrate the best day of our lives!

As a wedding photographer, I work at several different venues. I absolutely loved working at Twin Oaks Golf Course. The staff was amazing to work with. Pamela was very flexible and accommodating. All the staff members were polite and treated the other vendors, myself included, with respect. The food was so delicious, as well. The grounds were well kept and absolutely BEAUTIFUL. There are so many different spots for photos. I would absolutely love to come back to Twin Oaks Golf Course!
