Our wedding was amazing and beautiful at the Chateau! The Chateau is a beautiful property and has dream views for a wedding! We loved working with Mark and Annabelle— they were accommodating and did everything in their power to make sure that we were happy! I really appreciated their due diligence and kindness to make our day super special. They get 5 stars! My only suggestion would be for them to properly vet the vendors they recommend. We are not from California and with having a destination wedding we had to trust a lot of vendors without seeing their work, but purely had to go with them because the Chateau recommended them or gave us only one option for that particular vendor. Most of the vendors were great, but some were not up to the standard of excellence I believe the Chateau is trying to provide for their clients. Overall, I would definitely recommend this venue; actually our friends loved our wedding so much they are having their wedding there too! Thank you Chateau Escondido for making our wedding a fairytale! 🤍

Fantastic venue, had a great time at this immaculate place. The area is beautiful and perfect place for an event or wedding.
The mansion is located up a long hill so make sure to get a Lyft when visiting this place. Giant kitchen and outside has nice turf patio.
Look forward to coming here again!

We had our wedding here in November 2024. The actual house and views were fabulous. Communication with the staff, items in the house like towels etc missing, dirty floors, broken ovens and freezers were just some of the issues we ran into. They need to figure out how to cater to large events and put new people on their preferred vendors list. The photographer and caterer on their list both did not do a horrible job and did not communicate well.
Thank goodness for our event planner who we hired outside of their preferred vendors list! She saved the event.
I recommend this venue if you have an event planner that can communicate for you, as it was very stressful to not have communication from them and their employees all had different answers about questions we had before our big day.plus, so many broken appliances and things left outside on our big day was stressful!

We had our wedding here in November 2024. The actual house and views were fabulous. My and my Fiancé had booked this Venue back in January 0f 2023 for a wedding in April of 2024. We were super excited with the venue, the view, and the ability to bring out our vendors to the site. The site ended up being everything and more on our day. As of leading up to our day, was definitely very difficult process. We were first dealing with the property manager Jessica and we loved her in the beginning. She also gave me a wedding coordinator recommendation. About 3 months later in April of 2023, we were passed off to 2 other ladies that were also part of the property management team ( Abundant Brides) that was ran by Jessica and her husband Mitchell, that we have never met before. They said they were working with Jessica and were helping with the property. It turned out, after April of 2023, we never heard from Jessica again. In addition, the wedding coordinator she recommended (Fanita Bass), ended up going AWOL and not being very communicative with me. This wedding coordinator had every excuse under the sun on why she AWOL and had not reached out to me via my cell phone, but had no problem contacting the venue immediately when I sent in a compliant about their preferred vendor. I had to find a new wedding coordinator and throw away 1500 dollars. The reason I add this in the review is that, I was disappointed that not only did Jessica disappear on us and pass us off, but also, the preferred vendor that was HIGHLY recommended to us, turned out to be unreliable. I know they cannot control other people, but I DO expect all vendors that are preferred and recommended, are vetted for, which I did express to them.
Then in January 2024, my wedding coordinator and I had requested to a walk through via online. Come to find out, the site yet again, had another person running the property management (Luque) and told us that Jessica and Abundant Brides company no longer worked there, which ended up not being the case as Jessica's husband( Mitchell) reached out the week of the wedding( 4.27.2024), stating that I still owed half the money, that I had already paid. I sent in a whole word document of receipts of payment to Luque back in January, when we were told Jessica didn't work there anymore. I also confirmed I was all up to date on paying with Luque in March for my last payment and stated I was. The communication between everyone who works for this venue was poor and completely unorganized. The reason for 3 stars is that our wedding turned out amazing, due to the new wedding coordinator working in the background with this venue, and how we were able to have this venue for 4 days and the house was amazing in itself. I suggest that they become more organized around staff and their wedding couples so they can continue to grow as a wedding venue in the future.

Wow! What a property! Beautiful views of San Pasqual valley. We were literally eye level to red tailed hawks flying in air. Wonderfully designed property. It seemed to get larger and larger as I walked the property. Like a house within a house. Lots of views and outdoor lounging area.
