Very friendly staff. The food expeditor was the best. Bolognese was just ok, but both different gaspacho soups we had were amazing. We'll have to see if we can recreate it when we go home. Very pricy.

The setting would get a 5 if they had better air conditioning. 96° is not unusual for Palm Springs, and it must have been over 80° in the dining room.
The waiter was for the most part, very attentive and his recommendation for the oakiness of the Chardonnay’s available by the glass was spot on. He disappeared for at least 10 minutes, if not at the end of the meal. We had to ask another staff member for the check, after which our waiter appeared promptly, excusing himself. He explained the manager was talking to him. So, perhaps the missing star should be given to the manager.
We probably should have ordered the steak. My dining companion had the beef tips bourguinon. There was no hint of bacon in the final dish and there were no pearl onions or hint of onion in the dish. (Onions were mentioned in the description and are in a traditional recipe for this dish.) Nor was there any hint of garlic, another traditional ingredient. The description said there was sour cream in the dish. It turned out to be more Stroganoff than Burgundy.
My paella missed the mark entirely. The liquid the rice was cooked in wasn’t very flavorful. The rice was not dry enough. This may in part have been due to the paella pan being too deep. The chicken, that is mostly cooked in advance needed to be seasoned more. There were no onions, or as far as I could tell, garlic. Last, the description of the dish on the menu said there was lobster. I didn’t see anything that looked like lobster and I didn’t taste anything like lobster.

First of all, a HUGE thank you to our host. He was incredible. They were so busy, I never had a chance to ask his name, but he was a legend. We had 12 people on a Thursday night, no reservation, and he got us in right away with 3 tables of 4 right by each other.
Our waiter wasn't that attentive, He was busy, but we could tell he just wasn't into working that night.
Food was very good. By the looks of it, the pizza is the best bang for your buck.
We were pretty high maintenance because we were at a conference and we all needed separate checks and I get that that can be a pain, but when you so close to a convention center, that's what's going to happen.
Everyone was happy with their meals and we left very satisfied.
They have food that is high and really expensive to midrange less expensive with a variety of styles of food. I would recommend coming here.

Carrots sounded good but undercooked and tough. The bread was dry and tasteless.
When inquiring about drink options, the server left us believing water and bar cocktails were the offerings. At one time explaining they have more in winter but not in summer. I was having difficulty hearing so even had him repeat.
Dessert menu is all lactose based.
Everyone was on the patio and it was so tight we had to be a captive audience to a deep family convo-argument at an adjacent table.
At that price I expected more from my experience.
