The hotel was conveniently located, and had a wonderful rooftop. One staff member stood out among the rest... Victor met us on day one and was sincere and efficient. It's not common to come across a Victor, someone who actually cares about the guest experience. Thank you for the wonderful service.

Booked this Hotel for Anime Expo and the service and experience was exceptional. Had a great time and the staff were very helpful! I appreciate the security that this hotel has. Great location with a ton of stuff to do around the block. Not too far from the convention center either. The BIGGEST perk for us was the fact that they were part of the free convention shuttle service. That was AMAZING! Hope to book here again next year!

Booked this Hotel for Anime Expo and the service and experience was exceptional. Had a great time and the staff were very helpful! I appreciate the security that this hotel has. Great location with a ton of stuff to do around the block. Not too far from the convention center either. The BIGGEST perk for us was the fact that they were part of the free convention shuttle service. That was AMAZING! Hope to book here again next year!

A quick stay, but overall worth it. Service was great, from the doorman to the front desk and buffet brunch. The rooftop was pretty cool to hang out after hours (we went to a game, so didn't get to experience the food/drinks) and the view did not disappoint! Hotel location was seemingly quiet and there's a Starbucks across the street (for those who need their daily fix lol). Only downside was that the parking garage was closed so we parked in the below ground parking at the hotel across the street..... for $50 (nightly rate) 😭. Aside from that, would definitely stay here again.

I wanted to write this review mainly because how helpful nice and polite the staff is especially Jessica.
they made our accommodation so much easy it is so hard to travel with little ones so they were very understanding and accommodating

I had such a nice experience at Checkers! From the vale team, to the front desk - every staff member we interacted with was very kind! Loved the rooms & the bathrooms were very clean, nice bathtubs and comfy beds. Isn’t super fancy, but has a charming, art deco vibe! Would def recommend for a quick weekend in LA, we visited from San Diego.
