Went here for my 23rd birthday and it was okay but probably won’t go back. The waiter brought out something completely different than what my friend ordered. We get mistakes happen so we let it go. But now we were all waiting to eat because her food wasn’t ready. Also we ordered the flamingo bowl drink and it was mostly ice. For $60 I expected more. And lastly, mentioned it was my birthday, but the waiter didn’t bring out any kind of dessert or anything, which I thought was pretty strange since every restaurant I’ve ever been to on my birthday has always brought out something. I was pretty surprised by that, so we didn’t end up getting dessert.

The food was tasty and the service was really great for a quiet evening. The portions for all of the food we got were pretty small for the price. I got the ahi tuna and was pretty disappointed with the hockey puck sized tuna block and seven or eight chips. My cocktail was good and as described.

I am sure this place is popping at night but I've only been here a few times for lunch and I come for the food and location by the beach, not so much the service. At lunch time they usually have a bartender, barback, busser and a server. The last time I went they only had 1 bartender and 1 barback. So needless to say, the service was very slow. They have parking in the paid parking garage below, paid parking lot or free parking on the street.
I am a huge fan of their sourdough pizza crust and their chimichurri steak. The drinks and daybeds are great especially as it is warming up in SD. You can get a tan while eating out.
It's a place I like to bring people to because the food, drinks, and location are great. Service is generally slow for lunch but perhaps it's faster service at dinner.

Have been twice for happy hour pizza and drinks. Service, atmosphere, food and drinks have been fantastic both times. Will keep coming back!
Update: We have been back a dozen times now and it still has never disappointed! Our server, Steve is always fantastic and the Thursday Happy Hour pizzas still cannot be beat. The spicy sausage pizza is the best! One of our favorite places in Pacific Beach.
