We are here for a speaking engagement, and we are loving this hotel.
Our room faces the ocean, and we are loving watching the sunset each night.
We have turn-down service each day, the employees are amazing, and the spa is incredible.
Every person who works here is so nice. We have been made to feel right at home. The lobby is stunning..all of it!
I will stay here each time I come to LA from now on.

This is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The entire thing had clearly been recently renovated, the room was very spacious and felt very luxurious. I loved the huge glass shower. It was very quiet in the room at night as well. The pancakes at the restaurant were a little pricey at $30 but were very tasty. I would absolutely stay here again.

Great location! The rooms are nicely renovated, a bit small but cozy. We looked all over for the mini fridge to discover it was in the dresser drawer. The valet team and bellman were so friendly and greeted us each time with welcoming smiles. Valet parking only $65/night. The bartenders were attentive and friendly. A great place for business meetings and conveniently located next to shopping mall. Construction on Ave of the Stars. Noisey

I recently stayed at Fairmount Century plaza hotel for nine days and had a very disappointing experience during checkout. I had asked for a 30-minute extension for checkout, which was approved. However, when I returned from grabbing a coffee just 15 minutes past the original checkout time, my key card was deactivated. While this might be understandable, the attitude I received from the concierge was completely unacceptable.
When I approached the front desk to request reactivation of my key card, the staff member was extremely rude, stating, "You know if you're here any longer, you'll be charged." I felt like I was in a cheap motel, not a high-end hotel. I had no intention of staying past the allocated time; I just needed my key to gather my belongings. When I asked for a manager to submit a complaint, there wasn't even an apology. The concierge just dismissed me by saying, "Yeah, those are the rules."
Her unprofessional behavior and lack of customer service are not what I expected from a hotel at this level. I won't be returning back to this hotel, and I advise others to be cautious of their customer service.

One of the nicest hotels I've stayed in. Beautifully updated, well thought out rooms and spacious bathrooms. Plenty of included amenities. (Toothbrush, toothpaste, shave kit, hair dryer, etc.) Large, fully equipped gym with all the amenities (water, towels, refrigerated cold towels infused with mint). Rooftop pool with plenty of seating and shade (and ice water). Fast and strong Wi-Fi. Good water pressure. Minimal noise. Every room has a private balcony. Located close to most things.
