Wonderful experience. First time visitors to Monterey and we really enjoyed our stay. Jackie and her team are very professional , answered all our questions and made wonderful suggestions for things to do in the area. Rooms were always cleaned and very accommodating. Complimentary breakfast is awesome and the crew are really nice and helpful with our elderly family members. We highly recommend a stay at this beautiful location and bet that you’ll receive the great service we experienced.

Hotel is fine. Windows disgustingly dirty inside and out. Dead bugs, back guck and filth. Outside windows caked with debris and dirt. Nobs to operate the shower are stupid. It literally requires a card attached to the shower head to unstruct how to use. IT IS A SHOWER! It should not require an instruction card. Hotel staff friendly and breakfast as expected. Bravo to the breakfast staff being quick, friendly, and keeping it all running. Coffee is Very thin, but hot. Breakfast breads were a treat. What happened to all the plants in the hotel? All the racks are there, but the place has been stripped down to a gray dentist office. Very drab and cold. Elevators are nice and efficient. Half the gingerbread houses were gone. Why keep the set up? Shampoo and conditioner are terrible and yucky! Fan running all night in the room is loud and annoying. Bed, comfortable.

This hotel has transparent pet policies. The housekeeping staff here left a very positive impression. I had to send them away twice as our pups had started behaving like toddlers on crack, but they were super nice about it. They made sure our rooms were spotless, and comfortably arranged. The bedsheets were crisp, and the pillows were soft and firm. The only disappointing thing was that there was no shower gel in the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was delicious with a nice variety of options. The hotel also offers appetizers and drinks in the evening.

I felt like I was in a different dimension staying here. Maybe it was the spark of magic from simply being in the Seaside / Monterey / Carmel area but... staying here made our family's experience TOP NOTCH! BIG SHOUT OUT to George with being SUPER friendly to my family and I during breakfast. Not only was the food great but his kindness and heart made eating an amazing experience. Rooms are clean, views are amazing, and staying here feels like something out of Harry Potter with the moving staircases. Couldn't get enough of the glass elevator and the open forum concept of the hotel as a whole. Thanks guys :D
