Great ambiance and service. Food is okay. Good but not worth the price. Instgramably beautiful. For the price, there are better options in LA.

Honestly some of the best food in LA right now. The name of the restaurant doesn't evoke anything creative, but the purity of the ingredients is spectacular, and the flavor combinations are sharp, focused and spot-on. The vegetarian options are fantastic, and the seafood is excellent. Nothing hits you over the head, but each dish gets better and better the more you eat it. A great wine list as well with affordable and unique wines. Certainly the location is strange and the decor is a little odd, but the great food more than makes up for it.

The cocktails and ambiance were super. However the rest of the experience is relatively poor especially considering the exorbitant and deceitful pricing/menu structure. The menu is confusing and lathered with hidden charges. They offer a “tasting menu” with 3 dishes: a crudo, salad, and desert for $90 while not explicitly stating the other items on the “tasting menu” have extra charges at exorbitant rates. They have very small numbers with no dollar signs and the menu is designed to imply all are included in the tasting when in actuality they are not. Normally a tasting menu will have all that’s included for the price and state that “full” portions are available for a fee. The tasting menu is purposefully designed to be deceitful, what was suppose to be a $180 meal + drinks for 2 turned into a $500 meal + drinks. The manager did offer a consolation discount for the confusion which was appreciated, however, it would be much better to be transparent with all customers rather than having to have this discussion at the end of a meal. The food was high quality but generally bland and many flavors simply just did not pair well together. For the pricing they ultimately charge, I would not recommend.

What a fabulous experience! It has been years since we really enjoyed every course of a vegetarian tasting menu. These were creative and delicious. The wine pairings were inspired and unusual, and the sommelier answered all our questions. A true delight.

Although food tasted okay/good and server was nice and professional, the worst hostess we EVER NEVER met before! So mean!!! It affected the entire dinner experience. We guess she's either an Asian hater or a kid hater...And it's not a kid friendly restaurant so far...We won't go back because of the average experience we got and especially been treated by the hostess like that. I just want to tell the restaurant owner the importance of the host/hostess service because it's the beginning part of the experience. Also, restaurant management should deal with the mistake you make and fix it somehow and not to treat and push the customer instead. Anyway, if you want to give a try, just a reminder to avoid the bad service happening, DON'T call to make the reservation DO it online...
