Timber Creek Ballroom

We are so thrilled to have chosen Timber Creek Ballroom to have our wedding and reception this past May. From the second we reached out to Jenny, we knew we were working with a professional. All our meetings were thorough, full of laughter, and never rushed. The facility is amazing with so many wonderful photo locations, plenty of parking, and large bathroom facilities for all the guests.The cost for the garden, ballroom, and food were all very reasonable and we were not disappointed. Jenny is so fun and easy to work with and all the staff were amazing on the day of the wedding. We also were able to have our dog be part of our ceremony and that was a huge deciding factor for us. If you are looking for an amazing space for your wedding or special event, definitely give Timber Creek Ballroom a chance, you will be very happy!

A wonderful, quiet place for a small group to congregate and share a great meal! My pesto chicken sandwich was delicious, and the steak salad was huge- lots of meat! Wish I had photos! Wonderful staff, too!

Nice big place where they have all the Sun City Central things to do, also on the golf course. Was there for a charity event in the main ballroom, it was lovely. There is a large restaurant there which is great as well

Yummy food, great service. Shelly, our server, was informative & wonderful! She answered our questions on the menu & kept our glasses of ice tea constantly full!!!

Edit: it’s a month later, I’ve had 3 different checks and still haven’t been able to cash it. The most recent one is correct but for some reason is declining when I try to cash it. I’m now being told I can only cash it at their bank which is very inconvenient for me as I work two full time jobs and not able to take time off to cash it. I’ve been cashing checks for many years and have never had to go to a specific bank for a check to clear. They do not seem to be empathetic of the trouble I’ve had with this. EDIT: I’ve attached a photo of Jenny asking me how my name was spelled and me ADDRESSING the incorrect spelling of my name due to the response of the venue below stating I never told them I booked here for my wedding in May of 2024. At the time of booking, I put down $2,000 which $1,500 was non refundable in February. Unfortunately we were not able to have our wedding local anymore and let them know in June leaving an 11 month notice to give them time to book our very popular date. They were not willing to work with us and give us anything except the $500 we paid over the original amount. Yes, I understand that we signed an agreement stating we would forfeit the deposit if we left less than a year notice, but it was literally a one month difference.Our other vendors were very accommodating and flexible and thanked us for giving enough notice & let us know that they will have plenty of time to get that date booked. We received almost all of our deposits back from DJ, photographer and videographer . When I asked if timber creek booked my date would I then be getting it back. I was told no basically because they start working on my wedding The day that deposit goes down, which is a lie because I only met one time with the coordinator for less than 20 minutes for payment. There was a time when I was trying to email the coordinator to talk about my wedding and I got a bounce back saying that that email no longer existed. I panicked and called a few times and finally found out that google took their email away but I was never notified from the venue of this. After realizing that they were not going to give me all the money back I spoke with Jenny in regards to getting the 500 of 2000 via check . When I received the check my name was incorrectly spelled. I tried to cash it anyways but the check declined for some reason (not due to the name). So I tried again at another location and the teller wouldn’t even attempt to cash it due to the name not matching. I contacted Jenny and yes she was super attentive in trying to get it fixed and a new check was overnighted. When I open the check I found the name was misspelled AGAIN. We had another venue on hold & they were waiting for us to get our money from Timber creek within 7-14 days as I was told from Jenny but we have now lost it due to these inconveniences. Due to us moving. We are trying to plan a wedding out of state and it’s so frustrating that we couldn’t get our money back in time to book the venue we loved and already got to visit. We’re back to square one with our venue search. I wasn’t going to write this review however, After more thought and speaking to other vendors, contracts are able to be voided IF THE COORDINATOR WANTS TO, I understand they are for protection of LAST MINUTE cancels but we gave 11 months. They just want to make the money. 2 : after receiving the second check incorrect again I just realized how much they do not pay attention to detail. They kept 1,500 of my dollars and couldn’t even give me $500 back in a timely manner. I am happy that I did not have to get married there.
