This hotel was the best. Clean, cool,
comfy bed & pillows, a deep soaking tub in bathroom, and a good view of City Hall. You can crack open the window for a little California breeze. It’s close to the Metro Gold line and tons of restaurants in Old Pasadena. I was able to check in an hour early, no questions asked, so I’d say staff is excellent. I took a dip in the pool - it is a small pool but love that it’s on the rooftop.

This hotel was the best. Clean, cool,

Top to bottom trash can hotel. Be wary, they lure you in with smiles and nice attitudes, then deliver sewage smelling rooms, which they try to cover with air fresher, squeaky beds, and then make you think they'll accommodate you at check out, and they don't! They gave me a discounted upgrade fee for a suite (that was already empty) and they used that as justification as to why the sewage smell was OK! AWFUL. The only shining start is the hotel restaurant which had wonderful service and food/ drinks, especially Norman and Cesar. They were excellent! The rest was absolutely awful. Would never stay here again and working on disputing the charges to get funds back. Stay away!!

First things first, one of the cleanest and nicest hotel stays I've ever had. Everyone in the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The location is great because you are very close to alot of great restaurants/dispensaries/parks depending on what your into. Definitely recommend the stay if your gonna be in Pasadena!!

First things first, one of the cleanest and nicest hotel stays I've ever had. Everyone in the hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. The location is great because you are very close to alot of great restaurants/dispensaries/parks depending on what your into. Definitely recommend the stay if your gonna be in Pasadena!!

Breathtaking hotel. The architecture is beautiful and the courtyard with beautiful mosaic art work was gorgeous. All the employees were incredibly friendly, hospitable and wanting to make sure your experience is top notch. The food at the restaurant in the hotel was delicious - I really recommend the parmesan garlic fries.
I do wish I had a microwave in our room. We brought back some leftovers from a night out and unfortunately, were subpar cold the next day without the option.

I’m a Titanium member who has spent nearly 125 nights and $20K at Marriott properties this year. But it’s people like front desk supervisor Renee Murphy who make me question whether I should move my business to Hilton or Hyatt.
We arrived at 3 pm ready to check in before the USC vs UCLA game. I booked a room with 2 beds and she said our room was not ready.
Renee offered to move me into 1 bed but I was traveling with my sister so we need 2 beds. Renee acted as if she was doing me a favor by offering me a room with 1 bed. Are you kidding me? The room a guest books should be guaranteed ready at check in. Especially from your most loyal guests.
She eventually called me at 4:19 pm to tell me the room is ready, 79 minutes after check in. What was worse is that when I finally came back to the hotel after the game she acted as if the room being ready at 4:19 pm was totally acceptable.
If she had just accepted fault and apologized, I would’ve been satisfied. Somebody like that shouldn’t be representing the Marriott brand.
