This is a nice venue with great views. I came for the dining in the dark event, which was a very fun and unique dining experience.

Made reservations here well in advance for a special occasion via Open Table. Confirmed the reservation the day prior when prompted via the app. Received a call from the club directly the day of our event telling us they were not able to host us. We were being bumped because they were now “closed” for a private event. They had months to notify us, but waited until a few hours before our reservation. Both my husband and I, as well as friends, belong to several professional organizations which use this venue for parties, dinners, and meetings. I have also recommended the venue to several colleagues for client dinners, since they started allowing non members to dine there. We will no longer be giving them our business, personally or professionally. Thank goodness tonight’s reservation issue was for a personal special occasion and not a client meeting!

The views are GORGEOUS in University Club! My organization used to reserve some of the meeting spaces for board rooms and I always loved coming early or staying after to watch the skyline (you are higher than the planes coming in to the airport.)
A little disappointed with their lack of vegan options on the menu for actual meals but the hummus board is great.
A great place for a business meeting or a nice meal with a great view.

The views are GORGEOUS in University Club! My organization used to reserve some of the meeting spaces for board rooms and I always loved coming early or staying after to watch the skyline (you are higher than the planes coming in to the airport.)
A little disappointed with their lack of vegan options on the menu for actual meals but the hummus board is great.

The University Club will provide you absolutely no value besides a great view. The networking events are extremely disappointing, mediocre food options, and a small number of meaningful connections (the vetting process for this club is essentially if you can pay you are in). The club tries to parallel themselves to a SOHO house but there is absolutely no comparison. There is absolutely no exclusivity to this club, please do not let anyone convince you otherwise. Personally, I would recommend checking out the Reading Club in San Diego. On more than one occasion, the events were canceled without notice, which highlights the disorganized nature of this organization. Their flagship event "Sunset Sips" is incredibly underwhelming. Club members are required to pay extra for this event where it is essentially small wine samplers (basically a "sip" or two and proportionally small appetizers. On numerous occasions the wrong date and time were emailed to members, or the date was changed at the last minute.
The membership director Mitch will promise you the world in your tour, but the reality of the club is completely different. Unlike the statements made on the tour, this club is not open seven days a week (closed Sunday and Saturdays 4pm-9pm).
In particular, I would be very careful of what Mitch promises you in the tour. I was specifically promised that if I relocated to a different area my membership would be cancelled. Unfortunately, that was not the case and without notice my bank account was deducted 1.3k.
After visiting the other membership clubs (LA city club and the Silicon Valley Club) I have come to the conclusion that Invited Clubs is nothing more than a poorly organized office space with food and drinks.
