SUMMARY: Beautiful grounds, almost elegant rooms, excellent restaurants, poor general service
This hotel is almost like two different hotels. One has beautiful grounds, very well appointed, almost elegant rooms and excellent restaurants with friendly and responsive waitstaff. The other has very poor general service: it took the valet 15 minutes to answer the phone which was better than the front desk and housekeeping which NEVER answered the phone during the four times that I called. I had to walk to the concierge desk to ask for a bag of ice which still took over 1 hour to be delivered.

Celebrated NYE here. What a wonderful experience. Classy resort that pays attention to every little detail. Pair that with great customer service and now we have our new go to spot. Spacious rooms, great decor, Meritage does not cut any corners. Thanks Wael (director of experience) for turning us into a raging fan. Can’t wait to bring the entire family and puppy here.

This review is regarding their Thanksgiving brunch just yesterday. We were welcomed in to a cavern of a room which turns out to be there 500+ convention buffet room. Nothing intimate or warm about the atmosphere. We sat at huge oversized tables, as if we were at a convention and half the people had left!! there were no decorations. we had a barren table with tablecloth, and silverware. Not even a pumpkin display was seen anywhere throughout the food displays or table presentation. The food was decent, but nothing more and certainly not worth the nearly $140 per person including tax and tip. It was a Thanksgiving screw job!

First time in Napa. My sister and I booked this resort because of the good reviews and gorgeous pictures. But the pictures are misleading. We were absolutely disappointed upon our arrival because the resort lobby and lounge area were undergoing renovations. We were advised about this renovations just one day after we could’ve had cancel our reservation. The resort was not fair about this notice. We were placed in a old area far from any of the resort facilities. The carpet disgustingly dirty. The room was dark and dated. The elevator was not working. The resort is far far from downtown Napa. We weren’t happy staying here. We were charged an astronomical amount for one night. No upgrades just for a mall dingy room.

The Meritage Resort has it all! It was an unforgettable stay and my only regret was not staying longer. The atmosphere was peaceful, and the vineyard trail and views from our room were breathtaking. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, especially in their world-class spa. I have never felt more serene than the time I spent in Spa Terra -where I received the best massage of my life. The on-site dining options are diverse, you have to visit Olive & Hay for breakfast and Crush in the evening for some fun! I can't wait to return to this beautiful resort in the heart of Napa Valley.
