I would say it’s a good 4 star property, not a 5 star. Our classic room was a bit old, but nice with great mountain views. The overall service in the restaurants was also good.
The hotel is not super kids friendly, as the only two high chairs at The Terrace were both broken and unsafe and the plugs in the room couldn’t be closed (the special door was broken).
Otherwise we are content with our stay - the grounds and gardens are beautiful 😍 and the neighborhood is nice.
It’s good we booked it with a special rate, I would be disappointed to pay 600+ per night here.

Beautiful decor with fresh bouquets of flowers upon entry. The restaurant and bars are lovely. Great food. Very nice pool deck. I was here for a conference so I don't have info on room prices.

I booked one room with two beds. They were renovating the room, then they upgraded us to two rooms. We stayed 3 nights during Thanksgiving holiday. Huge rooms. Rooms we stayed were a little outdated, but the bed was very comfortable. Very nice environment. So peaceful. Great service. Will stay again.

We stayed here for a week for vacation. This place is more beautiful than most parks. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The location is great too, although a bit far from the Getty, LAX and the beach.
However, I have to take one star off because the Tap room (a bar) is purely terrible. From service, the overpriced mixer made cocktails to the fact they double charged me for the drinks.
In conclusion, I would stay here again when visiting LA but stay away from the bar at all costs.

Really enjoyed my stay.
Pet friendly — dogs are allowed everywhere except for 1 garden and indoor dining areas.
Valet parking only but the valets are really nice. When they noticed my EV’s battery is low, they even offered a charge overnight. They seem to have unlisted L2 chargers for valet use. It saved me a trip to & the wait at a DC fast charger station!
Breakfast was wonderful and included if booked via Amex Fine Hotels + Resorts.
