My wife and I recently had our wedding reception at The Huntington Club at the beginning of December 2022 and it was truly a great experience to have our wedding here.
We had the wedding ceremony and the dinner reception combined into one. We worked with Rachel and LeeAnn - both who were amazing and very professional. Our wedding consisted of about 40 people.
Here are some notes about the experience working with THC:
1. The setup of the ballroom was lovely and the table settings were done perfectly, as seen in one of the photos. The table setting was done properly
2. LeeAnn and Rachel were very responsive and adjusted plans accordingly to fit our needs
3. The food is made in-house and the chef's selection for the pre-fixe menu was beyond expectations. Our personal favorite dish was the pork chop
4. All of the wait staff were efficient and quick to respond to the guests' needs and there were no gaps in service
5. The club itself is a gorgeous place and the decorations for Christmas was an added plus for our experience
Overall, we would say that our wedding experience with The Huntington Club was next to perfect and that was thanks to the staff, the location, the food, and the level of detail to service. We would highly recommend anyone looking to plan a big event at THC, whether its a wedding, company party, or special occasion.

Fun private course. Most fairways have houses in play which makes the landscape scenery less enjoyable. The golf carts are state of the art with GPS, Bluetooth, USB chargers, and news/weather/sports scores!
Weather is always nice here in HB but overcast sometimes due to the mariner layer.
The clubhouse is nice but the banquet hall that we were in was just ok (not as fancy as the rest of the facility due to low ceilings and lack of view of the GC).

A joke of a place
The least enjoyable place to spend money
I’d find somewhere else to spend my money.
I think my favorite was when I was discussing the changes with the then GM Chris Banner , he told me that if I couldn’t afford the club then maybe it’s not for me
Real classy.
Btw I’m a Member at 3 other clubs
Bottom line, not a club designed around membership happiness

If you see any reviews above 2 or 3 stars I would question the source. Perhaps this management group has made a wedding party or two happy (which is where they make their best money) but the membership community is a different story.
When considering becoming a member of a private club that is non-equity, know and understand that you may be treated as simply "a source of income" for a greedy corporate entity. Be assured this management company cares absolutely nothing of you as a member except your ability to pay their fees for a product that is not worthy of such pricing.
The staff is friendly, though not well trained. They do their best considering that the upper management comes from a corporate pedigree and not one of private equity club service. Expect to see members and visitors quite often so poorly dressed you may wonder whether you are truly at a private club. Expect golf course etiquette to be equal to a public municipal course. State of the art golf carts (they do have) do not make up for lack of course etiquette and slow play.
I commend their efforts for making cosmetic improvements to the club, but I do not anticipate they will ever understand service. If you have reasonably high income and low expectations of etiquette and service this club may be right for you. However if you are demanding of quality and you expect an experience that matches the premium price that comes with it I recommend looking elsewhere.
