Serene Ranch was absolutely gorgeous for my cousin's wedding in June. Just far enough away from the busyness of city life, but enough to feel at peace and relaxed. The beautiful, giant old oak tree was the focal point of the wedding accompanied by by a serene & pristine pond scene, a rustic barn-like venue, and open space as far as the eye can see. Definitely bring an umbrella/hat/fan for a hot day - as there are limited places for sun protection, but honestly, just a peaceful venue ideal for weddings.

I performed a wedding here as DJ Rockalot and found Serene Ranch to be a beautiful venue for any event and with quite a few unique features from others, definitely a must tour!

Gorgeous and Great location but issue after issue the entire weekend both on wedding site and the ranch house. The refrigerator in the ranch house still not working, septic system backed up and overflowed the night before the ceremony.
The onsite event manager was over her head managing the details through the day, she needed more staffing as the site is large. Family members had to step in and move chairs and tables all weekend as the event staff who were supposed to do the moving never showed up.
Bartenders showed up late to the event and did not bring ice. Caterers showed up and didn’t bring ice. Last minute run to get it an hour before the wedding started.
If you have an event here hire a full time wedding manager. You need someone to run point through the entire event.

The venue was beautiful for a family wedding. Scenery and the grounds were excellent. I gave three stars because we also occupied the ranch house, which is where we had some issues. The ranch house was beautifully appointed, however, three of the four toilets worked very slowly. The refrigerator would not get cold, so another refrigerator had to be brought in. We lost about $1,000.00 of food overnight and had to remake items on the wedding day after running to the store to purchase more food, including $200 of pizza because the dough had risen overnight in the frig!! The beds were extremely soft. When we talked with the manager, he was unfriendly and rude. We asked for compensation for our lost food. He refunded $400 only because he said we overused the toilets, moved furniture and didn't put it back, which we put back exactly as we found it and he said we ruined bath towels, which we didn't. Two towels had slight dirt on them but could be bleached to clean. I examined the towels and furniture placement before we left. (I had taken a video of the entire house to make sure). We felt the manager should have done more to compensate us for our loss of food. Business can only survive with a friendly manager. He missed the mark.
