Beautiful trails with a variety of coastal birds. Clean restrooms at the Nature Center and easy parking. My dog and I did the entire trail loop and we absolutely loved it! We went on a Sunday and it didn't feel crowded at all.

This dog friendly place has super nice trails to walk with calming and beautiful trails . We spotted a wide variety of birds. The view of the beach was beautiful . It’s a good place to visit and bring small or large groups

Great public space! For those with mobility needs, they have wide wheelchair and stroller accessible trails. It’s made out of firm sand and dirt and is pretty evenly flat. Depending on the trail, they have gentle slopes and inclines. As well, the trails are open to pets and certain ones are open to horses. You can learn more by calling the Lagoon Center!
There seems to be a lot of free kids events such as their “Reading with Rosy” every third Saturday every month and “Sunday Family Fun Day” with free crafts the first Sunday of every month. While I was there, they have a special free family event called “Wings Over Water” on Jan 25! Plus opportunities to volunteer for all ages.
Snacks and drinks are available to purchase inside the visitor center. Please note it’s cash only! Restrooms are there too.

Slow, quiet walking is rewarded with sightings of many bird species and the occasional rabbit. Seems ideal for school groups but the general public can enjoy the afternoon outdoors.

Could not visit the center itself as it was closed by the time we reached there. But the building looked great and must be offering great views of the lagoons. Multiple trails are accessible from the parking lot. May be we ended up there at one of the best possible times in the partially cloudy late afternoon. Beautiful trails winding between lagoons and wetlands offering amazing views. One can choose smaller loops to walk or can go for miles.
