The Renaissance feels like a true gem of Palm Desert. My stay was absolutely amazing! The room was super spacious and very clean, the bed was so comfy, and the pool area felt expansive and luxurious. We also enjoyed a delicious meal in the beautiful atrium near the hotel bar (priced very reasonably, I should add).
What really set this property above other hotels we’ve stayed in around the area was the service. While every staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly, I have to give special thanks to Keagan and Joshua on the concierge team. These guys did everything possible to make our stay as comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable as possible. Their level of service was absolutely extraordinary and a huge contributing factor to why I will be recommending this resort to everyone I know who’s visiting Palm Springs/Desert in the future.

What really set this property above other hotels we’ve stayed in around the area was the service. The rooms were very clean. The service overall was very good. The atmosphere is nice and chill. Has charging stations for your EV's in the outside parking area and in the underground parking area in the back. The pool was nice and big but a bit dirty in my opinion because it's just one pool and several dozen kids and adults eating and taking drinks in the pool. The price for the cabanas was outrageous and the price for poolside lounge chairs was pretty ridiculous as well. Overall, great place to visit for a couple of days. Would definitely go back.

This was the worst “resort” I’ve ever stayed at. First off, the place was overrun by a kids dance competition (had no idea, how about you mention this Marriott?) so you were unable to use any amenities because children were climbing all over gym equipment and they packed the pool. It was a bunch of kids who all knew each other and treated the resort like their house. Running through it and running right into my leg. Jogging barefoot on the treadmills. Screaming through the halls. You can hear everything in the rooms. Everything. It was constant state of screaming kids. No discipline at all, just free roaming screaming kids shoving you out of the way. I felt completely unimportant to the hotel, until of course, I asked for all my money back and left. I switched to the Sands Hotel and had a fantastic time.

Everything closes, too early. The spa the coffee/ice cream shop and the arcade. It would be nice if they kept it open later. The pool was warm. There are some resorts that have a cooling system for the pool so it cold when its 100+ degrees outside. That way it doesn't feel like you are taking a bath in the sun.

The Renassance Esmeralda has never failed us. Been staying here since the late 90s. There staff at all levels were courteous and helpful. The pool was clean and sparkling with plenty of chairs for everyone. The food choices on-site were good with a fair variety. Looking forward to returning in the Spring.
