We spent 5 very enjoyable hours looking around the museum, it was fantastic to see so many vintage and unique vehicles. We booked tickets which included access to the vault (which I thoroughly recommend doing!) and chose to go down there first thing, before it got busy. We particularly enjoyed the lowrider exhibit & it was great that there were friendly staff all over the museum to share their knowledge.

I'm a car enthusiast and take advantage of any displays of automotive history or art. This place did not disappoint me or my wife. We really enjoyed the history, the beautiful cars and motorcycles, and the gift shop. There's something here for everyone. Definitely worth the cost to go see the vault. We started there first since it sounded like there would be more to see. Again, we were not disappointed. The museum wasn't crowded, and I bought tickets in advance through their website. Parking is nice since it's connected to the museum and is convenient.

I'm a car enthusiast and take advantage of any displays of automotive history or art. This place did not disappoint me or my wife. We really enjoyed the history, the beautiful cars and motorcycles, and the gift shop. There's something here for everyone. Definitely worth the cost to go see the vault. As many car enthusiasts have said on other reviews, this place serves as a smorgasbord of vehicles from various eras of automotive history. Truly a walk through various feats of human ingenuity and creativity all of display in an ever changing exhibition. This museum has something for everyone from the most casual automotive enthusiast to those with gasoline or electrons in their blood; the constant updates, special events, the vault, and special collections make this a perfect place to visit again and again.

The Petersen was on my short list of places to visit on my LA trip. Got to see a lot of great cars, didn't avail of the vault pass as we didn't have enough time. If you plan to avail of this, it's better to start your day here before lunch. Parking was on site and easy. The staff at the ticket counter and gift shop were great.

I’ve been to ‘The Petersen’ twice before and am never disappointed. From the lovely lady welcoming me at the door through to the truly spectacular cars, and lunch in the restaurant, this place is faultless. All exhibits are presented exceptionally well. The current ‘Best in Low’ Lowrider display is spectacular!
I highly recommend this museum.
