The location is wonderful, regardless early morning or evening you step out then just see the ocean. That’s it. Room has some smell probably the detergents they use; the smell never went away during my 3 days stay. Also a lot of details that they put pretty enjoyable from sculpture to water fountains. So overall I would still rate five stars

The view was amazing and I enjoyed my stay here. The complimentary water and soda was a good treat. Breakfast in the morning was a buffet style which was very good. The room could of been cleaned up better (floors) and the front door was very hard to open. I would definitely return to this location because of the view.

Overall this was a beautiful and peaceful stay. The ocean view was perfect, the staff was very friendly and helpful, and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. The TVs were huge, and we were able to watch Netflix which was great. We had a perfect sunset view, and we could walk to all the restaurants and shops and beach easily. The breakfast was really good as well. We will most likely stay here again at some point, hopefully in the same room as we really did enjoy it.
My only issue was with the bathroom. While beautiful, all the faucets/shower heads had bad calcium build up to the point the shower head didn't even run properly. Some of the holes had no water coming out, while others sprayed haphazardly around, and there was water dripping around where it shouldn't. The shower was usable until the next morning. We lost hot water the morning we were checking out which was a big bummer as we couldn't shower. This is why I only put 4 stars, as the bathroom is a big part of any hotel room. I did let the kind woman at the front desk know when we checked out and she was apologetic, so hopefully it gets fixed and properly cleaned before we return.

If you stay at the Pantai bring earplugs and face masks. Their gardeners us extremely loud equipment that is not only loud, but that blows toxic dust and insects into your windows. We have a building next door to Pantai and I personally have had to be treated by a dermatologist for bites from insects blown into our windows.

This has been the best vacation spot I've ever experienced.
The room was absolutely spotless when we arrived. This has got to be the best crew in Southern California in terms of cleanliness and hospitality. Absolutely unmatched. Incredibly classy decorations without going overboard. Very stylish.
It's right by the water and the view can't be beat, especially if you book a waterfront room with a balcony. My goodness the view...
You might think the noise with a waterfront room would be a lot, as it's right on Coast Blvd, but you'd be mistaken. The dudebro types that cover for their inadequacy with their loud bass in their cars are mostly drowned out with white noise from the beautiful fountain at the front of the property.
I love the Pantai Inn and can't wait to stay here again.
