Well worth the admissions fee. Had a lot of fun & learning aboard the myriad of vessels they have. I can’t imagine how hard it is to up-keep old ships by the ocean in salt water. Keep these floating museums around is a treasure in itself.
I will be back if I’m ever in CA again!!!

Highly recommend! The staff have such a passion for what they do here. They’re happy to talk to you about any ship and even take a group picture for you. You can go into each ship as well as a submarine. The submarine was my children’s favorite. If we make it back to San Diego we will definitely return since I didn’t get to read all of the signage with the limited time we had.

Good to go to have experience about ship from old time.
One has fascinated with ships and maritime stuff must go to this museum, this museum will not disappoint!!
Very good ships and displays made the trip well worth the California traffic!!!
Also to walk around this place is also very good.
This place is very beautiful and should go to spent some time in evening.

I highly recommend purchasing a ticket to visit one of these older boats. You'll appreciate the attention to detail and craftsmanship. Plus, if you're up for it, take some time to explore the surrounding area as well. The California sun and the surroundings envelop you in such satisfaction that you'll want to stay the entire day. You’ll find yourself wanting to spend the whole day exploring everything from these historic boats to the Midway ship.

Very unique museum.
The amount of ships (plus a submarine) and information is a lot--it took us at least 3 hours, and by the end, I could barely read.
However, I'd love to come back with my family and do the boat tours!
