I really enjoyed the cabana style balcony and having easy access to the pool plus the Marina views were so beautiful. It was a great getaway for the weekend. Room furniture is dated but beds are super comfy. Valet staff was always quick, friendly, and professional. The pool was heated which was amazing! Bathroom cleaning could improve but overall great experience staying here.

Not worth the money we paid. For almost $600 we expected a nice room to splurge before heading back home. We first got a handicapped room that was super depressing, then another room that we realized later (all night) had a permanent smell of mold. A smell so pervasive that I couldn’t sleep. Upon checkout the receptionist comped us for the two drinks we had at the bar, but the overall experience was super underwhelming since the hotel was not well kept. Carpets everywhere were filthy, cushions by pool and restaurant were moldy. The food and service at Salt were decent. The only highlight, since the location is also quite remote.

Checking in and checking out was easy peasy. There are options for early check-in and late check-out. That was very convenient! Especially when you are probably coming from a wedding and need a couple hours of sleep after the reception. The pool area overlooks the marina which is beautiful. It's heated and has a very nice hot tub. My muscles felt very good after that. The bar area is perfect for lack of a better word. My staff was outstanding. There was an incident with a broken class. As soon as I notified the staff they quickly cleaned it up like it never happened. The rooms were a nice size. I still feel like trash bins and all hotel rooms are very small and if that's the case they should have more either trash pickup or larger bins.

This hotel is a great quick getaway! The staff was friendly and gave us a thoughtful anniversary gift that they helped me to surprise my hubby with. We enjoyed the food and amenities. We will be making this stay a family tradition for July 4th!

Rooms, atmosphere, location, staff and food all couldnt be better. This is my go to luxury hotel for Los Angeles stays or weekenders. Absolutely perfect. The suites are some of the best hotel rooms I have stayed in. Dogs allowed which is the biggest plus. They even have a little dog run and park for guests.
