My first stay, although I've had family stay here. Loved the old-style Poppy Room on the third floor. NOTE: No elevator, so if you can't climb stairs (albeit beautiful winding ones), you should request a lower floor. Or a few rooms accessible via a bridge from the upper parking lot behind the building. The bathroom was excellent! Roomy shower, heated toilet seat (also a bidet!), and no banging your elbows--it's a REAL bathroom! The bed was extremely comfortable. I just loved the quaintness of all the furnishings!
I've stopped by the Copper Cafe many times over the years, mostly for the pink champagne cake for my daughter. Some of the food quality was inconsistent with previous visits, and the service was a bit slow one out of two times I ate there during my visit. But overall, I'm looking forward to trying another themed room, but maybe not one that requires hauling up heavy bags three floors! This is such a unique hotel, and I urge anyone to just visit once for the experience! I think next time I'll get there early enough to try the steakhouse!

Love the Madonna Inn🩷💕🩷 theres so much charm and detail in all of the woodwork and stained glass windows. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. We walked by the horses grazing in the morning, played tennis on the pink courts and ate at the steakhouse. The food is absolutely delicious, I ordered spring lamb chops with mint jelly and had their famous pink champagne cake. A memorable experience, would love to come back soon.

This hotel is a must stay if you're in the area. It's got a wild selection of unique rooms and a ostentatious dining room that is so fun (I stayed in the Yosemite room, one of the "cave" rooms, which had a spectacular shower and fireplace. The grounds are lovely, particularly the walk up to the pool, which is large, heated, and also has two adjacent hot tubs. It's really a roadside attraction that is worth the visit, even if the menu in the restaurant is not vegan friendly.

This hotel is a must stay if you're in the area. It's got a wild selection of unique rooms and a ostentatious dining room that is so fun (I stayed in the Yosemite room, one of the "cave" rooms, which had a spectacular shower and fireplace. The grounds are lovely, particularly the walk up to the pool, which is large, heated, and also has two adjacent hot tubs. It's really a roadside attraction that is worth the visit, even if the menu in the restaurant is not vegan friendly.

Love the kitschy rooms, history and culture of this place. It’s so fun to visit and explore the property. The rooms are really cool and we enjoyed the spa. The thing that’s very much lacking is the service….especially at the front desk. We had SO many issues with the keys not working — literally every night we had to get our keys replaced. This brought up a lot of frustrations for us and the front desk workers were very unsympathetic / rude just telling us that we’re “working on it”. Upon checking out, I asked for a bottle of water (something they were giving for free in the rooms) and I was told to get a cup of water in the cafe….just a bit of disappointment after everything we went through with the keys.

Bucket list, check! Stayed here one night, Hearts & Flowers room and also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant. Staff was super friendly and welcoming , our room was magical/clean and we enjoyed our brief experience here. The dining room was off the charts and while we did not eat in the main area (reservations are key) we had a nice meal and went for 2 pieces of their famous cakes! Hit the gift shop, lots of fun branded trinkets. Also, you get two complimentary postcards of your room - postcards located at registration lobby.
