We found a leftover food item in the fridge and we called front desk right away. The lady who picked up the call apologized and offered someone to clean up the room for us, but we are in a rush to leave the hotel and don't want anyone to get into our room so we declined the offer. Then she said we could speak with the manager when we returned to the hotel. Manager Art did not provide any compensation for the situation.
Parking is free, which is great. Check-in is smooth and the hotel lobby has a view to the pool, feel relaxing.
We had a corner room facing the airport. Lots of sunlight in the room (and also the corridor/hallway in the public area).
The room has proper glassware, a plus for wine and spirt drinkers ;)
Bathroom looks updated and I love that the hand sink is separated from the shower and toilet. It definitely helps when one person is using the toilet and another person is getting their make up done outside. Good water pressure for the shower, and the towels are plush.
“This Works” amenity smell great and foam up nicely.
Room is a bit on the small side for North American standard.

Although the staff was very friendly, the pool was great, and the free parking was nice, we got multiple bites during our six night stay (three out of four of us). The blanket on the bed was also not clean. I am fairly certain the room we stayed in (we switched mid stay due to the bites) was infested with bed bugs. I would be careful staying here, although I really enjoyed the hotel otherwise. We heat treated everything we brought with us after checking out.

These guys went above and beyond to help my family and I after we got stranded in Long Beach when we couldn't rent a car (even though we had a booking for months!) They helped us call a Taxi, and after a taxi never arrived, they helped us out with a discounted room and a late check out. Absolute angels. I don't know what we would have done if the staff at the Marriott didn't help us. Thank you so much! The beds were comfortable (like sleeping on a cloud) the rooms were spotless, the shower was amazing and the room was well stocked. Thanks again!

This a great Hotel! I have nothing to complain about as the hotel is well maintained, offers excellent customer service, and offers everything you may need. It's a hidden gem near the airport and it's near downtown Long Beach without, the downtown noise. Highly recommended!

Front desk staff could be more friendly.
Also, not a single microwave available for guests to use. Newport beach Marriott has one on every floor with the ice machines. When you're used to good practices it really reflects poorly on this hotel. Also, concierge closed on weekends, boo.
