Absolutely cannot wait to visit San Juan Capistrano again, in large part due to the amazing experience I had at this restaurant. Beautiful beautiful historical location, and very fast and good service. I went there for taco Tuesday night with my family, and we all enjoyed our tacos immensely. Great cocktails and an amazing regular dinner menu that I can't wait to sample next time I'm in town! The pictures I included were the $5 fish tacos times two, and the Birria Taco special for 12 bucks. Amazing value and great flavor!

It's been a family favorite for years!
We were visiting for Christmas & my family took us here to celebrate an early birthday!
The food fabulous! The tamales,enchiladas,quesadillas,fajita platters amazing!
Not to mention the delicious Margaritas!
As a fanatic about good Mexican food it's definitely 5 stars! Just be sure to make a reservation!
We sat in the bar area by the fireplace! So cozy & charming!!

We really enjoyed the attentive service and historical site. Although the food portions are very good for the price, the flavor was just ok. Our Margaritas were also lacking. I can give the overall experience a 3.5 star rating.

This place is very delicious and the best Mexican food around here for sure. The service was great and the atmosphere as well. The shrimp cocktail was delicious and definitely recommend. The Chile verde could’ve been spicier and the rice and beans were spot on.

Amazing Taco Tuesday. I love sheared beef crispy taco. This time I also tried fried Cod Taco, was good, good presentation and good portion. Family and friendly atmosphere. The Mexican music could be better (traditional it’s fine, but some new songs they aren’t ok). Service excellent
