Absolutely top location, so that you can easily reach all the attractions. The room (two queen-size beds) was very good: view of the hills and the sign, extremely comfortable beds, spacious (being three of us - couple with son - we had plenty of space). Cleanliness is OK. However, you can see that the hotel is getting old. Here and there the veneer is peeling off and there are cracks in the fittings. The pool is great, the gym is OK, the service staff very helpful and courteous. In the evenings the service at the bar is particularly outstanding. So it was no problem that we didn't get the draft beer (which is very expensive). The burgers at the bar are outstanding! One point of criticism is the breakfast: although plentiful, the quality is not what you would expect given the hotel's positioning. For example, the pastries were stale. What the hotel can't do about it, but you should know: the area is not safe in the evenings. We were warned several times by locals not to go out after dark. We stuck to that (only went out in the car) and had a great three-day stay in the heart of Hollywood!

I enjoyed my stay very much. The house keeping was splendid and the staff were so courteous. Then location is super perfect in the middle of right about everything and the top top spots in Hollywood. Would definitely love to stay again. Sadly the pool was closed during some days of my stay. The breakfast was great too. It was perfect

Great hotel - staff was fantastic - best I've experienced in years from the front desk to housekeeping. Location is great near everything a tourist would want to do in Hollywood. Walk to a Hollywood Bowl concert. Parking convenient and reasonable at $20/day in the Ovation shopping center parking garage next door. Great amenity bonus of free Hollywood bus tour, Lucky Strike bowling, and free movie ticket at the famous Chinese Theater.

Great hotel - staff was fantastic - best I've experienced in years from the front desk to housekeeping. Location is great near everything a tourist would want to do in Hollywood. Walk to a Hollywood Bowl concert. Parking convenient and reasonable at $20/day in the Ovation shopping center parking garage next door. This hotel is located right behind the middle of Hollywood Blvd, the accessibility to the area is extremely easy. All staff were amazing, friendly and more than accomodating. The reception staff were also very polite and knowledgeable of the immediate area. The facilities are of high standards, the only thing that I would suggest is another bench and more attachment for the cable machine in the gym.

We stayed at this facility while we were on a short family trip and universal studios visit. We arrived late at night and were greeted with smiles and very professional staff. Our check-in agent was amazing and full
Of energy. He helped us with putting us in a nice room, and made recommendations for our visit to universal studios and many time saving tips to make the most out of our one day visit to Universal. The next morning he saw us leaving for universal and reminded us on things he shared with us the night before and asked about how the room was and if we were able to comfortably get some rest.
The bar tenders and servers at the bar in lobby were very cordial and offered suggestions for dinner places, areas of interest and more. The whole stay felt like we were visiting family and didn’t feel like we were at a hotel. Will definitely look at staying at this hotel again next time we visit LA. We’ve been searching for a “go to” spot for years in LA and looks like we finally found it!!
