The ambiance is skinny, well dressed. Everyone was wearing black for some reason , while I wore Kelly Green. Super fancy and accommodating. Only valet $18 1st 4 hours ..Drinks.. yummy .. food fresh!

Lovely dining experience for DineLA.
We didn't even have plans to eat here, but we had just walked a little over 4 miles for our Sunday stroll and were super hungry. My intention was to dine inside the hotel just a few blocks away, but after checking online that they were in fact included in DineLA we decided it was time to stop walking.
The complimentary bread they give you is out of this world good. It comes with 4 dipping sauces, all equally bangin. The cheese was my favorite.
We both got the same starter and main - prosciutto and lobster omelette. We also decided to get their caesar. The portions are pretty impressive. We actually thought the one plate of the prosciutto that was dropped off was for us to share until another plate was dropped off a few seconds later. The omelette was so good and tbh I didn't even need the lobster. I honestly could've done without it.
I ended with the nutella budino. My friend got the mango gelato. He ended up having some of mine since it was that good.
The service was amazing. It was Sunday brunch so a dj was playing a very lively set that I felt compelled to tip her.
Connor took great care of us. Everyone else were lovely.

Incredible food, staff and ambiance! LAVO is an amazing upscale Italian experience. Went here for my aunt’s birthday and we were all treated like high end clientele. The staff was beyond attentive for every course. Never an empty glass nor ever a request left unattended to. The lighting, layout, plating, cutlery, art, and overall acconciare of the restaurant made you feel excited and happy you were dining there.
The real review needs to be the food. From the seared prime rib, the charred octopus, the branzino fillets, the pizza, were all top tier offerings. Everything was served elegantly and and perfectly prepared. Will make sure to come back again.

stunning restaurant with great service, the food took a while but it was well worth the wait. the garlic bread was the focal point of the menu, the gelato might be more of acquired taste. They do not go light on the cheese!!!! super accommodating towards vegetarian diners and they were so sweet in celebrating a birthday. overall, a great dining experience that I highly recommend!!
