We stayed here at the end of June. We were active in the early part of the day until about 1pm, then it was time for the pool or indoors. The resort is a lovely place. Staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The restaurants were excellent. We ate at Morgan's in the Desert and it was a memorable meal. The resort is very clean and there are many pools. It sits up against a mountain range on the edge of town. The decor is tasteful and pretty but simple. Adobe and mission style tends to be sparse...but it looked very nice. Price-point for this resort is excellent. Excellent location. We would stay here again.

Enjoyed a fabulous stay! There are SO many pools!!!! Kid, Dog and Adult friendly- pick your pleasure! Food was great and many gluten free options for those looking like me. Rooms are well appointed and stocked. My favorite part of the service was the text number- Any issues or needs or general questions can just be texted to the front desk. Someone always replies and usually within a few seconds. If you're a history buff there are a few historical features of the hotel shared in the lobby and throughout the grounds.

This trip was a nice weekday escape from reality. Pets are welcomed with a bed, treats, new toy and bowls for food & water. There are plenty of pools to cool off, a spa for relaxation and tennis courts to get your game on. Nice restaurants at the resort so you don't even have to drive. The gym had plenty of cardio & weight machines and free weights.

My partner and I stayed 4 nights in one of the spa villas. Initially, we were impressed by the beauty of the resort, colonial style and nice service. The resort authorize our card for incidentals, booking fee and resort fee when we checked in in the hotel. The last day of our stayed, we decided to explore the desert and went on a nice drive. We get to our room and our access cards were not working. No one called us to let us know and informed us that our access to the room was denied. We were asked to go to the lobby and the receptionist explained that they didn’t billed us $38 for a “fee” and our card did not go through. Our stayed is completely paid and we did not understand why they would block our access cards to the room. The receptionist was cocky about it and blamed us! The resort should have called us to inform us about this instead of treating us like thieves. It’s unacceptable and for such an expensive resort we never thought of being treated this way. Sure, our Canadian card hasn’t been working but the resort was PAID IN FULL. Not pre authorized but PAID! Never staying here again and will not recommend this hotel to our colleagues, friends and family.

A true oasis in the desert! The entire resort grounds are luxurious - citrus trees everywhere!
The grounds are full of native plants, so for those coming from outside the region is really fun to see.
Room and amenities are top notch. The food is phenomenal and very accommodating to those with dietary restrictions.
