At first arrival guests were using the front entrance as a dog park, may a real one would be great not so close to the lobby entrance. The lobby looked comfortable and inviting until you reach the staff at the desk. To say she loved her job would be a bit of a stretch. Well we just brushed that off too. Next was getting to our room, be sure you know no elevators. Paid for a bay view, which we received. Upon entering we noticed no air conditioning, thankful for the fog so it was cool enough to leave the door open a bit to cool it off. Bathroom, yikes black mold and water on the floor. Not soap to wash our hands after using the restroom, what? Marks all over the walls, mismatched linen, dirty chairs and headboards, and the alarm clock was set 1 hour ahead so we were up and out an hour early, oh well. The beds were not that comfortable anyway. Overall, not that great for a $360 price tag.

I would rate this a 3.5 if that was an option. Great location and rooms are spacious. Quiet location with good views. Rooms are in need of cleaning and repairs. Mold and rust in bathroom made the room smell musty. Tp holder and towel rack not secured to the wall. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

This hotel is so dirty, moldy and in need of serious repair. It would take years of neglect and lack of cleaning to get that moldy and dirty. This isn’t a new problem this is years of bad management/ownership. It’s a health hazard it’s so moldy and unclean. It was jaw dropping shocking how bad it was. Do not stay here. I’m beyond disappointed. This hotel makes motel 6 feel like a 5star resort.

A sweet spot in Morro Bay. The rooms are nice, the food is good and the views are amazing. Sunset might bring people crowding your table, to take pictures of the view. lol Located In the State park and right next to the golf course. A Morro Bay classic destination stay.

The views from the bar and dining area are beautiful!
Along with relaxing music really makes a vacation feel luxurious. The outside of the rooms and the property is beautiful.
Unfortunately there are more bad than good from my stay here. My partner and I enjoy coming to morro bay often and each time we stay somewhere new to get a feel of each hotel. I've wanted to stay here for a while because of the photos of the views. The views were not a disappointment but the room definitely was. The bed was clean and nicely made but that's about the only clean thing about the room. The walls and windows had severe dust build up and spider webs you can definitely tell they don't dust or clean window areas. We even had a spider! You can definitely tell it's been months of build up. My partner and I have allergies and the dust definitely wasn't helpful. The chair that's in the room had some pretty nasty stains and had dust build up as well.
The mirror looked like they tried to clean it but was streaky. I unfortunately didn't realize either but there was no ac unit and just a fan. We didn't feel like burdening anyone and complaining since it's just a one night stay but I personally wouldn't recommend this place for the way the room looks. In Morro Bay there are many other great places to stay that actually clean the rooms that also have amazing views.
