Ingleside Inn

We had a lovely experience at Ingleside Inn. It was very tranquil and quiet. The grounds and pool are lovely and adults only is perfect. Perfect for a quite getaway, but yet so close to town. Building is old but rooms are beautiful, an understated elegance, bed very comfortable, lovely shampoo and soap in shower, a lot of nice touches. Definitely Upgrade for the rooms with the private patio and sun chairs. Would have loved a full length mirror in the room or any mirror outside the bathroom for that matter (Maybe just me, but it’s the first thing I look for!) and charging plugs on both sides of the bed. Also the pool lounge chairs are a bit strange, they don‘t appear to lie flat and don‘t have big cushions. The chairs at the Sister property next door are super comfortable but it’s much busier over there and hard to get a spot. Anyways a mix of chairs might be nice. Overall though, we loved our stay at Ingleside and will definitely be back!

Wow, just wow. Everything the staff and property offered were so obviously geared toward making us happy. I was slammed at work and my schedule shifted, buy when I called Tony adjusted everything for me and made it his mission to ensure my girlfriend had a warm welcome. The room was perfect, and the room service was also quickly delivered and expertly prepared and presented. Melvyn's is a must, and they too go above expectations to ensure a wonderful experience for all. We will be back!

Stayed before Thanksgiving. I like the city but the hotel is not as good as I expected. First of all, it’s a very tiny place. Small room, small garden, not a lot of places to walk. Parking lot is also small. Very simply decoration inside the room. No carpet, broken phone, individual AC (loud when you turn on it), only one chair inside the room. Coffee machine is great. They add wine, soda, chips, water in the room, which takes lots of counter space. These items are also very expensive. All windows couldn’t be open so you have to turn on the individual AC, which is very loud I think. I was going to check the swimming pool and campfire area outside but the fire is not on. Not a lot of staffs to provide service. I called the front desk twice because there was an annoying sound at the back of my room (sounds like a machine is working). The front desk staff said he would check at the 1st time. After 30min, no respond. I called again and he said he didn’t find anything around the room. No other solutions. I was disappointing and didn’t get a good sleep. Be aware that they also charge you a 3% or 5% (I forgot which number) of your room rate per night as their employee benefit fee, which is mandatory. It was listed on a paper when you check in and they asked you to sign. I’m not sure if it’s fair to add the employee benefit fee to customers instead of the employer. As a hotel that charges you almost $400 a night (included tax and other fees), I feel it’s not worth it as it’s not a luxury hotel as it advertises on the website.

This is the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. I literally felt like a phony staying here, it was unreal. My boyfriend and I stayed in the premium guest suite with patio. It was the size of a New York apartment at least. The person at the front desk was so nice and recommended we waited a little for the large private patio with lawn chairs. The place is so small that walking from your room to the office to the pool etc takes no time. This place is very quiet and though it’s small, the pool is big enough to where it’s not crammed. Everyone here is extremely nice, you need to stay here!!!!

Absolutely incredible stay. Room 1- beautiful premium room just steps from the pool. Tony, the concierge, was the most amazing host. He would make anyone feel welcome. Grant at the pool, keeping everyone full of food and booze (wink)! Had such a good time there not only for work but also play. Stayed 5 nights, 6 days. I would go back in a heartbeat. Keep up the great work and congrats on hitting 100 years!
