The spot is great for a cozy Italian dinner with a beautiful view of the ocean. The minestrone soup was pretty tasty. The pasta was fresh and well-made. And the tiramisu was creamy and sweet.
The servers were nice and professional, and the atmosphere was great!
I would definitely recommend visiting this place for a nice dinner date if you’re craving some good Italian food in Del Mar area.

I recently visited Il Forno Delmar, expecting a delicious Italian meal. Unfortunately, my experience was a letdown from start to finish. The wait staff was rude and unprofessional, seemingly put off by our presence. When I politely asked for a refill on my drink, I was met with a dismissive attitude and a long wait.
The food was equally disappointing. I ordered the pasta dish, which arrived dry and stale. The flavors were unbalanced, and the portion was small considering the price. I was expecting a rich, savory sauce, but what I got was a bland, uninspired mess.
To top it off, the wait staff seemed completely uninterested in our experience, failing to check in or ask how our meal was. When I expressed my disappointment to the server, I was met with a shrug and a lack of concern.
Overall, my experience at Il Forno Delmar was subpar. With so many great Italian restaurants in the area, I wouldn't recommend wasting your time or money on this one. Unless they revamp their staff and menu, I won't be returning.

The foods were perfect. The only thing is there were too many people, so the server was slow to serve. I had a wonderful evening celebrating my birthday here. I reserved seats for sunset viewing. And server brought an ice cream and sang birthday song with other customers for me!!

Cozy atmosphere, great service and delicious food. I highly recommend it! I ordered a Linguine Mare Chiaro (32 dollars), and it was delicious, and to drink I ordered an Aperol Split (15 dollars). My bill was 60 dollars with the tip.

Amazing restaurant with wonderful ambiance, delicious food and beautiful views!
We went there for our anniversary dinner date and the staff was extremely nice, and accommodating to our needs since we had a toddler.
The bruschetta was delicious, the pasta was so well made and the dessert was perfect! We had the specials dessert - the chocolate mousse and it was superb.
My husband had made reservations in advance and they even decorated our table. We forgot to take a lot of pictures of the food because it looked tooo good and we started eating it right away lol.
Highly highly recommend to everyone!
