Overall, the stay wasn't bad. The check-in experience was great, thanks to a wonderful front desk staff member who provided excellent service. However, the next day was a complete turnaround. The front desk staff downstairs refused to provide even a bottle of water and acted as if the water was some sort of precious holy elixir reserved only for elite members. How stingy can a place be if you need special qualifications just to get some water?
To top it off, this particular staff member showed absolutely no compassion and is clearly not suited for a customer service role. I hope she can adapt to the role soon because handling basic services seems to be way beyond her capabilities.

This is a lovely hotel. The morning breakfast was terrific and had an excellent offering of optional, all well above bar: eggs Benedict, gourmet sausages that were plump, juicy, and a tight skin that snapped in my mouth. The danishes and pound cakes were beautiful on display and did tempt me to the point of indulging, I had no regrets!
The room was also above average and I loved the round table and swivel extra wide chairs. This made working very enjoyable. Now I want to do this at my home.

This is a lovely hotel. Overall a decent place if you need to stay a night and fly out the next. Breakfast area is quite small and slow and the hotel isn’t very special. I did enjoy being able to plane watch while working out at the gym while I stayed here.

Stayed here for 1 night due to layover. Rooms felt like they could be better.
Our assigned room had towels all over the ground, as if it were recently used. They changed our room and gave us complimentary breakfast buffet for the inconvenience, which we appreciated.
The second room was better. It was spacious and the bed was uncomfortable. However, the shower pressure was weak. And the vent in the bathroom was extremely dusty…
Staff at breakfast buffet was attentive and kind. Breakfast spread was not bad, and the fruits were particularly good. Driver for the shuttle in the evening was super kind.

Stayed here after a Long Beach cruise. We wanted to be close to the airport, yet close to public transportation. This place was perfect. Easy check in and a nice room. Walk three blocks to the bus stop that takes you to Santa Monica Pier in 50 minutes for $1.25.
Back at the hotel in the evening, an event was happening. Problem with the event, two of the elevators were not working. The rest of our stay was consumed by 5-minute waits to catch an elevator.
Front desk blew it over saying they were going slow, but nope, they were on the same floor for 14 hours!
Other than that, nice stay.
