This has been our favorite hotel in San Francisco. Really great service, the staff are so helpful and friendly. The room was large, quiet and comfortable with a gorgeous view of San Francisco. The beds were excellent as well as the linens. I appreciate thick fluffy towels. The housekeeper took extra care every day to tidy up for us, even down to organizing our cords. 10 out of 10 and we will be back.

I recently stayed at Hotel Nikko in San Francisco, and while the service and cleanliness were impressive, the room design left much to be desired. The space was not very functional, making it difficult to open a suitcase comfortably. Additionally, the hotel charges a steep $39 per day for amenities, which feels unreasonable if you don’t actually use them.
That said, the staff were friendly, attentive, and detail-oriented, which helped balance out the frustrations. The hygiene in the room was excellent, which I appreciated. Overall, while the service and cleanliness were great, the room layout and extra charges made the stay less enjoyable than expected.

Check-in was quick and efficient. The rooms are clean but on the smaller size with no work desk. Food is not an issue with multiple restaurants and cafe within walking distance from the hotel

The hotel is amazing clean, with very friendly and professional staff. Check-in and check-out were quick, and the pool was relaxing. The standard room was decent in size and very clean.
The location is great for tourists in San Francisco, within walking distance of many bars and restaurants.
The only downside (which isn’t the hotel's fault) is the presence of homeless individuals on the downtown streets, some of whom appeared to be under the influence of drugs, both in the morning and at night.
Overall, we had a great experience at Nikko. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a nice place to stay in downtown San Francisco!

The hotel and service are excellent. But now, with the location of the hotel, it is in the city center in a place that used to be good. There are many shops and shopping. If you are not a shopaholic, other options may be worth the price.
