Great downtown Chico iconic spot. History, design, quality, comfort. Everything to make a great stay. I did suggest adding a bedside lamp as my room this stay only had overhead lights. Excellent hotel!

A bit acward to walk into as we did not get much welcoming service, BUT, this place is pretty cool. We book a suite and it was absolutely beautiful! The staff warmed up and were really amazing. The restaurant/bar was great. Food was really good, service was great and yes I will be back. Only critique would be front desk to be better. Minor but important as they are our first contact.

Cute hotel with boutique feel. Excellent service. Breakfast was delightful and more than I expected. It didn't have vegan options though.

Hotel Diamond is the place to go choice while in Chico. Hotel Diamond is a boutique hotel with about 59 guest rooms so book now because they do sell out. This is an old hotel, but kept up perfectly. The rooms are not super fancy, just comfortable, clean and with everything you need.
We stayed in a king room which was so nice with a little seating area, a HD TV, air conditioning (a must have in the summer), and a mini fridge. They also have free Wi Fi. We loved our room and just everything about this gem of a hotel.
The hotel has a 24 hour front desk. We had complimentary parking. Now that is a treat being from LA and paying up to 80$ a night just to park your car.
There is a lot to do nearby and their eatery is amazing.
The service is great. We loved the maid service, so so clean, and the front desk staff was the best, directing us to great places to visit.
If you are staying in Chico this is the only place you want to be.

Had to stay here due to fire evacuations and thought this would be our best bet in Chico. Air conditioning didn’t keep the room cool. We had it on 50 all night and it was stuffy and hot. Light bulbs out in room and it took 1/2 hour to get any hot water. The worst though was the cockroach in the bathroom and the fact that I emailed management about all of these concerns and received absolutely no response.
