This hotel used to be an excellent hotel, but it seems things drastically decline recently. After arriving, and in our room maintenance workers just walked into our room without any warning or permission to do so. Extremely alarming hotel would give unmonitored access to an occupied room. Luckily no one in the room was in a state of undress. Once we complained, their response was “oh, sorry they’re doing work”, in other words your safety is not our concern. Additionally, they failed to provide us the adjoining room at check in and separated our rooms to opposite sides of the hotel, claiming the room was having work done. The following day someone else checked in to the room, and had about 15 guests of their own in the room. They were yelling and screaming from 9PM to 9AM, walking in and out of the room the entire night. We called down to complain about the noise and they sent up two house keepers to address the noise. Yes, two house keepers. A clear indication they have a lack of security measures or enforcement. They do not have security personnel on staff. Management seems to have no control over how many are allowed in each room, or any restrictions over who has access to the guest floors. It's unacceptable for a hotel of this size and reputation to overlook guest safety and allow unmonitored access to rooms. Our concerns over safety were met with offering us loyalty points, as if that will make us feel safe. This used to be my hotel of choice when visiting Glendale, but I can assure you this will not be the case any longer.

Our stay was fine. We felt that the hotel tried to represent itself as a high end hotel, but it actually appeared to be struggling. There was hair in the bathroom when we checked in. It was noisy, the people next door were very loud. The room was comfortable and nice. There was no room service, we tried to call down so we could pick up our food, but they listed a wrong extension. I went to get breakfast, the pastry was dry and stale, and I got juice and yogurt, I was charged over $20. I was not expecting that. One evening my husband and I were walking to a restaurant, I turned my ankle on the walkway that was pushed up by tree roots, on the hotel property. I told the front desk about my incident, she did not ask about my injury or well being. She just said she will tell maintenance. On our last day, housekeeping was picketing in the lobby.

I guess I can say, I don’t know what I walked into. After arriving from Philadelphia late, the only thing I looked forward to was a hot shower and a warm bed. I didn't receive either. The first room that I was in, the toilet would not flush properly and the water in the shower would not drain, so they moved me to a 2nd room. I got in that room, and the cold air was blowing from the heating vent. I wanted heat not air conditioning. At this point all I want to do is go to bed. Again I called the front desk and I was told maintenance will be up to my room asap... so I waited and waited until they finally arrived. It was fixed but all of this was a total inconvenience. Not to mention, the room is dated, probably 1990's furniture. Dark dingy looking carpet. I'm not happy at all!! I'm totally disappointed! Also, an even bigger concern, when I arrived they told me they charged an additional fee, a security deposit of $330.00... yes a hidden fee, for all my troubles. A toilet that doesn't flush properly, water that doesn't drain properly in the shower and a failed heating system. This is not what I expected at all. I read the reviews, but I thought I'd give it a shot... UNDERSTAND ME... DO NOT MAKE A RESERVATION HERE. You'll be totally disappointed. Stay tuned... I pray that this mattress is comfortable!!!

I had the charge removed by front staff and they didn’t even say “sorry”, like it’s a regular thing! Luckily I just stayed less than 24 hrs and won’t be back!

As a Hilton Diamond, my advice to everyone: AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. A run-down hotel with terribly maintained room and facilities in a thoroughly inoperable condition, and most disgracefully, with a shockingly incompetent and unabashedly shameless team providing a nearly non-existent service so appallingly abysmal that is beyond repair. It is so hard to find a hotel that is so truly disgraceful in every aspect.
The check-in lady was rude and could not figure out how to put Diamond member info into the system and was completely dishonest and dismissive when an upgrade was requested. Upon entering the room, the lamp is half broken and the phone is not working so no service could be requested (good for the staffers). We were not informed that room keeping is upon request, so we ended up having none. In both times when problem was reported to the front desk, the staff member was unapologetic, dismissive, arrogant, and outright disrespectful.
This hotel is committing irreversible damage to Hilton’s reputation.
