Great venue. Beautiful interior. Fast bartenders allow you to stay focused on the show. The lady bartender upstairs was killing it! Mezcal paloma $14. Great sound. Plenty of options to enjoy the show: buzzy main floor, balconies with lots of room, rear mezzanine seating, etc. It's like Choose Your Own Adventure. Clean bathrooms, good door management. Love it all.

Kick ass venue. The place is absolutely amazing with great sound. Saw the Hoodoo Gurus last night and the show was stellar. The sound and lights were on point and the vibrating wood floors were cool as hell. The neighborhood is sketchy, but I'm Canadian and from a smaller city, so it is what it is. All in all a great night.

Came as early as I could. Been there so long, staff let use the facilities when I wanted. (Over venues would tell me to go around somewhere). Been standing outside so long, the band thought I worked there. Fun night.

This is probably my favorite venue in SF and one of my top 5 in the Bay Area! Great location for grabbing food beforehand, BEAUTIFUL venue, friendly staff, great bookings, GREAT sound, and reasonable prices on drinks etc. The food is pretty yummy for a music venue. I also usually encounter respectful crowds. What more could you possibly ask for!

God, I love this venue so much. Even if the concert you're at is weak, it's still such a cool venue. If you get there early enough you can get a seat in the upper balcony and just admire the gorgeous architecture. It's on the edge of the TL so if you take Van Ness it's not too hard to get to without trampling people. There's a lot of great Thai, Vietnamese and Japanese food nearby, and some great bars. I will say, I have been served some very weak and very expensive drinks from the bar, so I stick with beer at this venue myself. They also pick such great acts, it's really a gem and I'm so grateful that someone is keeping this gorgeous venue open and in use for the city.
