My husband and I stayed here over the weekend and had such a wonderful time. The service and people who work here made our time really special. Micheal and Moises who work at the bar really exceeded our expectations. Michael makes amazing drinks and has great customer service and Moises really made sure all our needs were met. Not to mention the food is amazing. Morgan who worked the front desk really went above and beyond for us, providing us with excellent customer service when we needed to change rooms and Justin helped me with my bags and luggage when changing rooms. He really was so kind and helpful. All these employees really made our weekend special. The views of the lagoon were beautiful! The rooms were exceptionally clean and we will definitely be back next time we are in the area! Thank you for such a great experience and training such an excellent staff.

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed at.
Their customer service is atrocious.
I booked online in advance. When I arrived, the guest services attendant told me they could not find my booking. I offered to provide my confirmation number and showed them my booking confirmation on my phone. Their response was that they changed systems recently so did not have my booking. The attendant paused and said nothing more. I then asked what they could do since I did book in advance. The attendant responded again saying they did not have my booking - I said okay, well can I still stay here and they let me rebook. The attendant had a terrible attitude and was looking for me to provide a solution to their problem. Ridiculous.
The following morning, by 930a my wife was woken up to loud drilling and pounding on the wall from then doing work in the room next to us. Couldn’t they have warned us or done this at a later time in the day? The same occurred at 11:30p at night.
Later during our stay, I called guest services 10+ times in a row after sitting on hold, a call dropping, and getting hung up on by them. I was trying to request clean towels and a fresh bed duvet since they only gave us 2 towels and never serviced our room. I finally gave up and went down to the guest services desk in person.
Their response was that they could not give us a fresh duvet and could only give us a clean sheet and blankets instead. WHUT. Ridiculous again - did they run out of bedding?
I will never stay here again.

The Grand Bay Hotel provided a satisfactory accommodation experience during our recent visit. Located in a peaceful but central area, it offered a convenient base for our activities with opportunities for leisurely walks nearby.
Our room, although not the newest, was functional and met our needs well. It offered good value for the price. An enjoyable aspect of our stay was the pleasing view of the Bay Area from our room's window.
The standout feature of the hotel was the staff at reception. Their professionalism and helpfulness were commendable and contributed positively to our overall experience.
In summary, for travelers seeking a quiet, centrally located hotel with decent rooms, a pleasant view, and exceptionally helpful staff, the Grand Bay Hotel would be a suitable choice.

Older hotel, but we didn’t experience any of the problems some of the other reviewers mentioned. Front desk was a bit hit or miss but the general cleaning staff were lovely and really good at their jobs. Location is pretty on lagoon and suited the work trip destination, but not much is around and only one vegan item on the bar menu (and only a snack of 3 pieces of tofu) and breakfast menu was full of sugars and dairy.

Parking $30 overnight. Front desk person was nice. Gym is nice. Pool is nice. The room is spacious. Mini fridge available. Two out of three elevators working. The view is amazing. Nice deep tub with shower BUT the tub...had nasty dirt like no one cleaned it and hair all over the walls. This is an automatic NO. I had to scrub it with a towel and it only got 90% of it out. They did not clean this bathroom properly. Photo of the tub is after I washed the dirt down.
