We were given a gift certificate from my uncle for The Gold Mountain Manor. We knew nothing of the B & B when we picked our days of choice other then my uncle's knack for finding hidden gems for us. From the jump, Darrin was the most accommodating and hands on owner and that level of care simply increased throughout our stay. In part due to his lovely wife Amy, who was not only the coolest but her attention to detail for a guest's needs is unmatched. My review would not be complete without praising Toni as well. She is the third point of the triangle that makes this place a haven on the mountain. She possess this wonderful ability to make virtual strangers feel like friends before we even finished our first course of that beautiful homemade breakfast. Which is tailored to the guest I might add. They even found my missing airpod under the armoire when cleaning and mailed it to me. Above and beyond, we can't wait to go back. The outside grounds were warm and inviting but we really enjoyed watching a movie by the fire in the living room our last night.

It was our second time staying in this beautiful Bed and Breakfast and we will definitely come back! Magical place with very cozy and unique rooms! The fireplace and jacuzzi right in the room is amazing! The complimentary breakfast was vey delicious!

This place is absolutely beautiful! My husband and I always do a BnB for our anniversary, and this year we picked this one. We stayed in the presidential suite, and for as big as the room is, the pricing was very good. The area itself is very wooded and off the beaten path, so if you like privacy, this would be great for you. Outside is a garden, and in this garden wildlife plays all day. There was a cute grey squirrel when we were there that was about the size of a cat. Chipmunks jump from tree to tree while you're enjoying breakfast and birds pick berries off the trees. They provide toiletries in the bathroom, as well as firewood for the fireplaces throughout. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves due to a storm, and we played pool and some of the board games that were in the common room. I definitely recommend this place, as the innkeepers are responsive and live nearby.

My girlfriend and I were having trouble finding a place to stay after our previous plans were cancelled on us. We called Darrin at Gold Mountain Manor Bed and Breakfast and he was absolutely amazing. Our 1st time staying at a Bed & Breakfast and Gold Mountain Manor really exceeded my expectations! We stayed in the Ted Ducey Suite and it’s the most gorgeous, cabin like setting. Room had a big jacuzzi, robes, heaters, coffee machine and you have your own entrance! Darrin and Amy, the owners of the property were the sweetest, making sure we’re comfortable, made delicious breakfast and had all sorts of snacks and goodies available! Kids had a blast playing with the enormous amount of board games, pool table and chess table! We were in Big Bear during a blizzard and I wouldn’t want to be stuck anywhere else but here!
