The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The fireplace worked nicely and was a great addition to warm up and stay cozy by. The balcony has a couple chairs and is nice to get some fresh air. The employees were extremely helpful and nice. The included buffet has fresh fruit, breads, bagels, oats, toppings and juices along with eggs and meat choices also potatoes. Food was fresh and constant even while the buffet was very busy. They have a restaurant and a bar for after hours eating as well. The game room looked pretty chill.

Look, it's a Best Western but a great value for location, decor, conveniently located to public transportation, and a Walgreens, plus it has a full bar inside. Live music on certain nights, and a fireplace upped my rating to 5 stars for what it is. Great entertainment room with things to do. The beds were comfortable and clean. Again, 5 stars for a three star hotel (I'd knock it down a few stars if it was a Four Seasons, but it's not).

Great staff and very clean rooms, enjoyed our time in December right before the holidays.
Will definitely be staying here again and recommending it to friends and family. Parking was easy and in a great location!

Stayed here for the first time and this is one of the better Best Western facilities. It is in a great location on the east side of Big Bear Lake and conveniently located near several good restaurants and the Vons is right up the street. There is plenty of parking within the complex and there is a heated pool outside with a small but nice gym inside. The interior of the hotel is well designed, and the layout was great with the dining area off to the right of the front desk. The room was clean, had a nice layout, and the size was adequate for our needs. However, we would not reserve a room with a jetted tub next time because it was a bit too high when trying to step out of the shower. Another thing you should be aware of is if you stay more than one night and that is no maid service. We stayed two nights and discovered when we returned that evening the room had not been serviced, the bed was not made, no new towels, etc. We had to go down to the front desk and ask for clean towels, which were delivered to us by Jeff later that evening. Sorry, like the bed being made and having clean towels daily. If you can, we would recommend getting a room on the first floor to avoid the odd layout of the second floor. If you have several large luggage bags, you will have to take the elevator to the second floor, you will then have to transfer your baggage down a set of stairs to reach the second floor, kind of strange layout. The breakfast which comes with your reservations is fair too good depending on your specific tastes and what you like to eat. While the breakfast is far superior to what you get at many chain hotels, it still was not great. However, the staff preparing the food were fantastic and very helpful. We should note that the eggs and bacon are cooked onsite and are not your typical folded omelets you get at your standard chain hotel. Finally, we would like to recognize one member of the staff who took very good care of us during our stay and his name was Jeff at the front desk. Kudos to you Jeff for making our visit so easy.

I had such a fantastic time during my stay! Overall, it was very good, and I really enjoyed the excellent staff and the great free breakfast. The hotel itself could use an upgrade, but it had a certain charm to it. There were some issues with the air conditioning, and for a couple of days, it was 80 degrees in our room, but thankfully, they got it fixed. Despite that, I had a delightful 6-day stay and made some wonderful memories there!
