We just had our wedding here a month ago and it was the most perfect night and venue! My husband absolutely loved everything about the venue - from the ceremony space to cocktail hour to the reception, it had everything we were looking for. We loved that the venue was tucked away in historic San Juan Capistrano, which gave our guests (who were mostly from out-of-town) a great place to roam around during our wedding weekend.
The venue itself was so intimate, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how fun the night was! I can't thank the 24 Carrots and Franciscan Gardens staff enough - we felt so well taken care of, and if we could do it all over again, we would have our wedding here in a heartbeat. It also was such a convenient location with the Mission being steps away from the venue for our wedding party photos - it felt like we were transported to another country with how beautiful our photos turned out! Overall, it was the best decision we could have ever made to have our wedding here and we're so thankful to have made so many beautiful memories here :)

THE PERFECT WEDDING!
I fell in love with this venue the minute we saw it. It was our dream venue and it was the best night. Melissa and Kayleigh helped us a lot with everything and were so patient with us planning from another state. They made video calls with us and answered SO MANY of my emails with copious questions. Through it all they stayed so pleasant and professional!
The courtyard was beautiful and the guests fell in love as well. We had 115 people and there was more than enough room for us to dance, chat, whatever! The cocktail hour inside was beautiful as well, with the chandeliers and brick accent wall!!
Can't say enough great things about Franciscan Gardens! It will forever hold a special place in our hearts!

This is such a beautiful venue for a wedding! There is an indoor and outdoor area but the outdoor part is definitely my favorite. It can be used for both the ceremony and reception, but it's nice to have an indoor option in case of rain. My one complaint about this venue is the lack of natural light in the getting ready rooms (there's no windows) but that's a small detail and it wasn't too dark for pictures or anything. The San Juan Mission is located just down the street and is a great place to go for couples portraits on the wedding day. Overall my experience here as a wedding photographer was a good one! One other thing for anyone planning to come here - the venue can be easy to miss on your first visit as it is along a busy-ish street and to get to the parking area you pull into what seems like an alley but if you look for a sign, there is one that says "Franciscan Gardens" hanging on the front of the building. Looking for a place that can take you to a Tuscany Garden ambiance located in SoCal. This is one of my favorite venues to paint during weddings because all of the greenery and venue textures. The staff at 24 carrot is amazing and beyond professional. Highly recommend getting married at Franciscan Gardens

Upon entry it was clear that we were in for something special. The bar served top shelf beverages and featured drinks. The live entertainment blended perfectly in the background. We were lucky enough to be invited guests of a 24 Carrots hosted event. We have been to many events where 24 Carrots catered and been incredibly impressed every time. Last night was no different. The tables were beautifully set very formally. It was a five course dinner with countless servers tending to every detail. If you are looking for a venue for a special event, or to have your event catered in a way that's sure to impress, you have to check out Franciscan Gardens and 24 Carrots!
