I spent two nights here. It's a nice, convenient location right across from the mall. The parking is secure and is pay-to-park. The room could have used some help in terms of cleanliness. There was hair and some sort of smudge on the toilet seat. The AC air filter had seen better days. My floor had a section labeled as vending and ice, but had no vending machines. The staff however, were friendly.

Great location, close to LAX without the LAX hotel parking rates. I actually chose this hotel because the parking rate was $27 versus the $55+ the hotels at LAX were charging.
The hotel itself was fine. The room was on the smaller side but no issues with it. The bathroom sink water did smell like sulfur but it’s my fault for not telling the front desk.
Check in and check out was a breeze. You have to request housekeeping (I didn’t need it). They have good amenities on site, including a bar (though it’s more a lobby than a bar) and food and snacks, as well as water in the lobby. I had a $15 margarita at the bar and it was not good, sorry to say. Avoid the margarita and stick to beer.
I didn’t use the pool but saw many people heading to it. I walked by the fitness center and it looked nice and small and empty.
Parking was fine but the lot did get full toward the front and they have too many Tesla charging spots that weren’t being used. Expect to walk a bit to your room depending on where you are if you come later at night.
Back to the location, it’s right next to a small mall in Culver City and it’s great. I walked over and shopped at Nordstrom Rack and Target. Easy on and off the 405 and it’s not a hectic area. Also located right next to a gas station so it’s convenient to fuel your rental before drop off.
Noise level - I’m noise sensitive but didn’t hear too many other patrons even though it seemed crowded. I could definitely hear the freeway noise despite not facing it but it was not distracting and it didn’t bother me.
The only issue I had is that they charge a $50/day deposit which appears on your credit card. They never told me this, however, so I had to call front desk and ask. I don’t understand why they have to charge per day instead of just a one time deposit but they should have told me at check in. They did refund it after I checked out. Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things but be aware.
I thought for the price, it was a bit high (stayed during peak summer travel at $250/night) for the room but I would still stay here again if I needed to be close to LAX.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a mixed experience. One notable downside is the abundance of rules. For instance, the large lobby table area is off-limits for eating food, which can be quite inconvenient. Additionally, the hotel lacks significant amenities, which might disappoint those looking for a more comprehensive stay.
On the bright side, Cesar from the bar provided excellent service and was exceptionally kind to us. His hospitality significantly improved our overall experience.

We are platinum elite guests and this has to be the worst stay we’ve ever had. Starting with the check in process. The woman at the counter was like a robot with no personality. She told us housekeeping is by request only and it had to be done in the morning by 10am. So we asked her if we could arrange during the check in process. She said yes and proceeded to ask us what time we wanted. So we told her and she made a note in the system and said we were all set for housekeeping.
The second we opened our room door a musty smell just hit us! It was so bad! We had to open the window to air the room out. I could not stop coughing all night.
We were out of the room by 8:30am the following morning and returned around 9pm. The room was not cleaned which meant we didn’t have any clean towels to shower. Had to call downstairs to make a request.
It was very disappointing to say the least. This is not the service we have come to expect from the Marriott chain. Will not come back to this hotel nor will I recommend this location.

The location is great being that it’s a safe and clean part of the L.A. area that is also a reasonable drive to (considering how large this city is) plenty of local attractions/activities and restaurants. The Westfield Mall is directly across the street giving visitors a convenient location for shopping and eating.
The hotel is well maintained and kept very clean. The breakfast is good and adequate (it was complimentary for our stay) however I couldn’t see myself paying what is charged for it per person. The staff are attentive, professional and polite.
I only gave 4 stars for service due to housekeeping being short staffed and not being able to clean the room or provide fresh towels/rags during our stay due to it being occupied while they were doing the morning rounds. Not a major problem because our stay was brief and we were able to get anything we needed at the front desk without issues but could be inconvenient for extended stays.
Overall I would recommend for anybody staying in L.A. and wanting good access to citywide activities.
