We were invited to a baby shower at this venue.
I must admit the event was spectatcular and the decorations were amazing! The catered food was delicious; Cesar's Salad, A simple bread roll, Mashed red potatos, Squashes (Zuchini and Yellow summer squash) and Chicken Picatta(?) Not 100pct on the chicken, either way, it was very good even though the chicken was overcooked.
The event center itself was a bit run down. The bathrooms were not so great and the entire building could use an upgrade all the way around.
The staff was excellent and very friendly too.

Beautiful n well kept venue. Restroom area is very warm tho. Nice big smoking area just outside, has a nice little waterfall structure n stream.

First I'd like to say thank you to Erica and her team she helped me put together my son's wedding in less then a mo. It turned out Awesome. She helped me through everything from the moments of bride & groom panic to getting them feel more comfortable and letting us put everything together she was there from start to finish. During wedding she was there even though she was at a event day before that didn't finish till late that night once again thank for making this a wonderful event. Hats off to the cook also food was great. I would highly recommend elkhorn for your next event

Was here last weekend for a funeral reception.
The food served was really good. The service was fantastic. All the staff was friendly and warm. An AMAZING team of service people. Everyone I encountered was so genuine and looked happy to be there.

1 star for beauty. Nothing for employees, service, and sheer attitude and difficulty in finalizing area and practice for wedding. I don't recommend this place at all. But I may update after actual event... ok so set up was great, they made up for terrible employee. Was a little stuffy for summer inside. I would suggest being sure to address available times for any extra things, temperature, or other needs.. in writing.
