DoubleTree by Hilton Irvine Spectrum

Room sucked. Event was great. The bed was honestly no better than a blanket on the floor and the pillows were flatter than a towel. The refrigerator was not cold enough to keep our already cold drinks cold. Lights on the mirror flickered. Water pressure in the shower was very low. In the cafe in the lobby, the freezer wasn’t cold enough to keep the ice cream frozen so they were all melted. However, the view was nice and the room was clean and visually very pleasant. Not worth a $200+ a night stay. Especially when we have to also pay for parking. With that being said, we hosted a celebration of life for my little sister and the event space was absolutely perfect. Noel and the event team helped us immensely and their sense of urgency was more than appreciated. They had a great audio/visual set up and were more than helpful in setting it up for us. The food (a few grazing boards that we picked) was well prepared and beautifully displayed. We choose to have a cash bar there and the drinks were very nice, the wine was great, and the bartender was very kind. They even made a point to ask what color my sister liked for the table covers.

Nice hotel to stay at. Room was clean, and comfortable. Ample parking. Nice staff. Cookies are available I believe. I only stayed one night with no complaints really. When arriving in the evening, there was a tea station set up but hot water was gone. Next morning, coffee station was set up and went to grab some before hitting the rowdy but it was empty😅Maybe bad timing on my part but was my only complaints. Kinda pricey but be sure to use AAA card for discount. Oh this seems to be a pet friendly hotel as I heard a couple of dogs barking.

I travel to Irvine every 6 weeks or so and stay at the double tree for a week. Every time I have stayed I am impressed with the quality of service. All the employees are friendly and happy to help. This place is clean and well maintained. Best of all is the restaurant inside the hotel. The food is good and close to your room.

Decent rooms that are very clean with a refrigerator to use. No comp breakfast or drinks. Friendly staff too. Has a bar, restaurant, and quick service area all on 1st floor. Not in a great location as far as toll roads are concerned. Ended up spending $5 in toll fees. I am sure there is a toll free way to get here but might spend more in gas

Hotel was fine but management was not okay. Maggie who is the manager was pretty rude to us for a situation which she did not even try to understand or listen to us. As a guest I did not feel great about the way she spoke to me. She could have conveyed her message in a better way. I would rather go to another hotel with a better management where I would also feel welcomed and happy. Maggie you ruined my mood and day.
