Dancing Pines

We cannot say enough positive things about this venue and the Dancing Pines team. The setting is stunning, nestled among lush trees with the serene Little Truckee River flowing behind the ceremony site. The private road leading to the estate adds to the exclusivity, and our guests in awe as the venue revealed itself beyond the tree line. The bright green foliage, soothing sounds of the wind through trees, and flowing river created a magical ambiance. The team at Dancing Pines was incredible. Special shout out to Liz (owner) and Madison (coordinator). Liz's positive attitude and pride in her amazing property were evident from the first time we met. Her optimistic vibe played a significant role in establishing an immediate and meaningful connection with Dancing Pines. Madison took the leadership role over and handled it with absolute grace. Her kindness, thoughtfulness, and clear communication made it easy to bring our vision to life. I can't tell you how many people said "best wedding ever" and "most stunning venue ever". We were guests at a wedding yesterday and I just had to leave a review because this was no doubt the most extraordinary wedding venue I’ve ever been to. From the trees and the beautiful river to the staff to the food to all of the facilities, the setting was more than I could have expected. It was spacious but felt personal and quaint. It was well appointed yet all natural and serene. The food was fabulous as well. Wow!!

We had the pleasure of planning a wedding at Dancing Pines this month. I am a wedding planner based out of Virginia and had clients who fell in love with this property when we were searching for the perfect venue. I cannot rave enough about how perfect this venue is. Liz, the owner, has created such a special oasis in the forest that feels truly magical. She has thought of absolutely everything. The beautifully manicured space is the perfect backdrop to celebrate love. Guests arrive and walk down a gorgeous stoned path and are greeted with a bonfire, adirondack chairs, and champagne until the ceremony begins. The ceremony takes place by the rushing river in between the trees. For cocktail hour, she has a stunning custom bar, beautiful handmade tables, and a trendy lounge furniture set for guests to enjoy. When guests enter the reception area, there is a wooden stage for the band or DJ surrounded by flowers, foliage and stone and hand-built wooden dining tables - all on a well-manicured lawn. In her rental, she includes all tabletop details you need: plates, glassware, candles, napkins and has the most amazing vendor team she requires you use. They know the space so well and provide such a high level of service to couples and their guests. On top of considering every detail for her couples who get married there, it’s also a real dream as a vendor to work here. Liz is so kind, accommodating, and smart. She works SO HARD (I cannot stress this enough) to do a good job and host an amazing party. We had a bout of rain before the ceremony started and she personally went around to towel dry each chair, each table, handing out umbrellas, working with the other vendors to come up with a plan - she works so hard and is a true pleasure to be around. I have been a planner for 11 years and worked at venues all over the world. This is by far my favorite venue i’ve worked at and I cannot recommend it enough if you are looking for the most beautiful venue to celebrate your love. Dancing Pines is the best!

Liz is incredible. She is the owner of Dancing Pines and I cannot thank her enough for all that she did helping me plan my wedding. Dancing Pines is a gorgeous venue. The views are stunning and the Truckee River runs through the ceremony site. Our guests have not stopped raving about how beautiful our venue was. I am so happy we picked Dancing Pines. I highly recommend this venue if you are looking for a beautiful evening beneath the trees.

A beautiful location for an outdoor location. They had room for our 150 guests for the wedding and reception.
